Since 2004, the In2science STEM peer mentoring program has engaged over 70 000 high school students in 170 schools in metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. Each year In2science recognizes the outstanding contributions and achievements of its mentors, mentees, teachers and partner schools at the Annual Awards. Due to an unprecedented year of numerous challenges, these achievements take on a deeper meaning that we are proud to share with you.

03.01.2022 Throwback to February when we trained our amazing mentors to prepare them for science and maths classrooms! Did you know it's been 12 months since they've been allowed to step into a school? We are very excited. Here are some happy snaps of science demonstrations, how to be a good mentor and a workshop on the transferability of #STEM skills from University of Melbourne facilitated by In2science UoM Coordinator Hayden Dalton and Schools Outreach Coordinator Julia Cleghorn. From Hayden, "(It) was so great to have mentors back on campus and have the opportunity to meet and learn from each other in person. The science demonstrations included me putting my life in the hands of the mentor team to verify some physics magic."
