18.01.2022 We’re back and better than ever in 2019 ! Rumination occurs when we focus too firmly on our distress and its causes and consequences, ultimately halting us from finding our solutions. This piece demonstrates the chaos our minds go through whilst we ruminate, consequently boxing us into our own unavoidable thoughts. Mindfulness activities such as painting, drawing and colouring are proven ways to break this cycle and have helped many people rationalise and come to terms wit...h their emotions. InColour is an art program with a purpose, creating a safe environment where people can express their ideas and create purposeful artworks that promote a healthy wellbeing. We understand how daunting HSC Visual Art majors and critical essay writing can be. Therefore our program was created to help keep students consistently motivated and supported throughout their year 12 journey after school hours. Using our band 6 experience we believe InCol...our can help maximise your artistic potential from the very beginning of your creative process and take stress out of the equation. Moreover, our service is not limited to year 12 students ! We offer art lessons for people of all ages and skill levels. At InColour it is all about you ! We offer private and personalised lessons centred around the artists and artistic mediums of your choice. We play your favourite music and create lessons around you in order to make works you are truly proud of, and works that act as an extension of yourself. As an ex-Visual Arts student, I know how much time and effort goes into the entire art making process. However, finishing a body of work that you are truly proud gives you a rewarding feeling that hits you every time you look back on it. (Depicted is part of my very own major that I'm proud of to this day) Feel free to like and share this post with those who care about art, are just about to start their HSC journey or even with those who just want something fun to do in the holidays.
