25.01.2022 Daiwa Australia have currently been doing some great "Angler Talk" videos lately. Giving "you" the chance to ask some really experienced anglers questions about their species of choice. Heaps of great info getting shared around!

25.01.2022 A huge change from the cold mornings chasing Cod of late. I had the privilege of heading over to Kiribati (Christmas Island) to do some fishing and filming. Such an amazing place. Great scenery, great fishing and great people. A must visit place for any fisherman.

14.01.2022 Ok guys and gals. We have been getting a heap of requests for some more IDA apparel over the past few months. So we thought we'd do another run of our gear. We are looking at doing some short and long sleeve tees, and some hoodies. At this stage we are just gauging interest to get an idea of numbers. Essentially the more we order the cheaper it gets for each item. We aren't doing this to make any profit, but purely to get you guys into some cool looking threads!... You can check out the AS colours website for an idea on sizes. At this stage rough prices would be as follows: Short sleeve tees (staple tee 5001) - $30 Long sleeve tees (ink l/s 5009) -$40 Hoodies (stencil 5102) - $60 Postage will obviously be on top of these prices. Prices will change slightly I'd say, this will be once we get solid numbers and can get a solid quote. Comment here, shoot us a pm, or an email and let us know if your interesting in ordering anything.

10.01.2022 Awesome weekend away at Hobie Fishing Asia Pacific Series 12, Round 1 at Bemm River. Great company staying with the rest of the Action Water Sports crew and mates, great fishing, and a bunch of laughs. Was great to also catch up with heaps of anglers I hadn't seen in a while. A quick sum up of the weekend, it was a jerkbait bite for me, getting all my fish on either Daiwa Spikes, Double clutches or TD minnows, essentially being able to cover all water depths with these 3 lur...es. Happy with my result of 15th out of 117 very talented anglers. The changing weather and lack of wind definitely kept things interesting, but still enjoyable. Congrats to good mate Nick Mace on the win, so well deserved mate. And to Jason Deenen and Richard Patterson for rounding out the top 3, well done fellas! Thanks to Hobie for the on-water pics. 08.01.2022 Chasing one of my favourite species, with one of my favourite model rods. Doesn’t get much better! Steve and I headed to South Gippsland to scour the snags for some big EP’s. Daiwa Baitjunkie 2.5 grubs in wakasagi, rigged on 1/10th weedless jigheads were the lure of choice.

06.01.2022 Some people spend years targeting a particular species from a particular location, poring blood sweat and tears into getting results they deserve. Then there's others who just happen to be in the right place at the right time and everything falls into place. While a, 20kg longtail tuna off the beach was never on my bucket list, it certainly won't be one I'll forget anytime soon.

01.01.2022 Been a bit quiet on here lately, but its safe to say plenty of fishing and filming has been getting done over the past few months. Here's one from last week. Funnily this fish showed itself a few weeks earlier when it missed the hooks on a surface lure, and I knew it was a good fish. I've been a bit unlucky previously finding resident fish and getting them to bite a second time. But to my joy this one was still hungry and didn't miss the hooks second time round. So keep that in your memory book next time a fish gets away.
