Children in INDI KINDY FAMILY DAY CARE made PEN HOLDERS by using metal cans, dry flowers and paddle pop sticks. Creating pen holder from metal cans gave children a sense of ownership and pride that they made special present for their dad, Also children learned how to make a difference in our environment by making ne...w things from recycled ones. 20.01.2022 These multi culture play food and utensils help children to understand the world around them, help to support childrens learning about their communities. Also encourages children to have a sense of belonging when they can see and play with familiar food items. Multicultural play food and utensils set allows children to explore and discuss different types of food. Also help to develop childrens fine motor skills as they use chopsticks to pick up the food, language skills as they talking and asking about the food.

15.01.2022 Learning table with scale and nature kept children very busy, yesterday a simple set of scales open the pathway for children to learn about weight, size and amounts. Children challenged and discovered science and numeracy while having fun. Children learnt work as a TEAM and helped each other and solve the problem.

Giving children opportunity to recycle, and demonstrating that recycled materials continue to be useful after their original contents are empited, helps children to learn value existing materials, instead of buying new materials

12.01.2022 OUR DIWALI PROJECT: Last week and this week, children draw and decorated Rangoli with colour rice and curry leaves. Enjoyed cooking and eating Gunghraa (sweet). Had fun listening and dancing on Indian music, using different technology to find out whats Diwali means, Whom and How to celebrate the festival of Diwali. Loved putting candles in diya. Celebrating Diwali or any other festival with children, helps children to respect for diversity and teaches valuing uni...queness of self and others, support the development of inclusive policies and practices with in our service. Promote the childrens exploration and creativities, building self identity and positive self esteem. it also help children to develop understanding of different experience. 05.01.2022 My name is Indira Patel. I own and run INDY KINDI MIRANDA. This is a Family Day Care service registered with All Areas Family Day Care Scheme.... I currently have vacancies that I am looking at filling. I would like to introduce myself and my service to our Shire and St George community. Family Day Care has been an integral part of my life since 1993 , this is when my journey began and from it I have gained many life long friends that I now call extended family. I have a grown son whom is a kind, sensitive and nurturing adult. He has often said that he has gained many of his attributes from children and families that have attended my service. I have been operating my Family Day Care service since 1993. During this time I have built strong bonds with families and have had the pleasure of seeing the children grow and blossom into respectable members of our community. I believe that providing children with experiences to provoke learning helps them to develop independence, resilience and stimulates their inquisitiveness. I proudly embrace the EYLF and am guided by the National Quality Framework whist working with the children I care for. One of my passions is to advocate for children and adults with disabilities and through this passion I have been able to provide an inclusive program that has supported many of our community members. 03.01.2022 EVERY CHILD IS AN ARTIST!!!!!!!! This week together we created Opera House!!!!!!!! As children create a work of art, they begun the process of communicating visually. Children build problem solving skills, fine motor skills and even social skills as they works with artistic media. The process of making their own creations and noticing other peoples creations provide important opportunities for the appreciation of other peoples strengths and acceptance of their own abilities. Children also learns that the ability to follow directions is an integral part of the satisfaction of seeing the final result when making a craft.
