24.01.2022 Week 2 has been a great success with students getting back into the swing of school and engaging with their learning. We also started Term 4 sport this week which the students enjoyed. A big congratulations to one of our students receiving a 3rd in the Albury Wodonga Community College RTO 3732 art show with submissions from all over Australia. Everyone involved produced some amazing pieces of art



18.01.2022 We have two new Fish in the pond Indie Wagga would like to warmly welcome Shannon Fisher and Christopher Fish to the team. Shannon and Chris are our Stage 6 teachers for 2021 and will be teaching from our senior campus in Fitzmaurice Street

18.01.2022 Always was. Always will be. NAIDOC 2020. Indie School students participated in NAIDOC activities and were fortunate to have Hayden Wood who is a local Indigenous artist come and run an art workshop with outstanding results

17.01.2022 Harmony Day is celebrated to acknowledge the contributions of multicultural communities to Australian society On Monday March 22nd Indie Wagga will be celebrating Harmony day. We would like to remind all students wear something orange to help support this day

12.01.2022 Year 11 students have reached a big milestone in their year today, completing their first major assessment task They sat a 1-hour Ancient History exam. 10.01.2022 This term in Science, Indie students have had the opportunity to conduct some chemical reaction experiments. Students are learning that elements in the periodic table can react when mixed together producing new chemicals such as carbon dioxide

09.01.2022 A warm welcome back to to Term 4 at Indie School Wagga! It was great to have the students back on campus yesterday telling stories of their holidays and catching up with friends. The staff were busy on Monday developing and planning for the term , but also managed to partake in some friendly Laser Tag ... We hope everyone had a relaxing and restful break, enjoying this warmer weather. Our best wishes for the term ahead

08.01.2022 Harmony Day celebrates our cultural diversity and coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Our students celebrated Harmony Day with some fun activities including Arrowroot biscuit decorating, Harmony Day acrostic poems and word searches as well as watching the movie Hidden Figures.

07.01.2022 Yesterday some students from stage 6 participated in an excursion to Bandiana Army Logistics Training Centre for a careers day We had the privilege of having Sargent L Wilson escorting us through a range of training establishments including Army School of Health, Army school of transport and a military police stand

02.01.2022 Footy Colours Day is a national fundraising campaign which helps kids with cancer Kids with cancer are especially vulnerable to COVID-19, and are facing prolonged isolation due to their weakened immune system. To help raise awareness, staff and students wore their team colours on Thursday to help make a difference
