24.01.2022 How many times a day do you apologise for existing love? As children growing up, we are often told to ‘be seen but not heard’, to not let our needs impact others, that our feelings aren’t valid etc. etc. As adults this often translates into overworking, abandoning our feelings, to put others first at all costs, to play it small.... Here’s the thing - you are a human being & human beings have needs! You are unique & that’s something to be celebrated, not something to apologise for. You feel things, therefore will have emotions & feelings. You are here to take up space, own it! Your dreams will differ from that of others - GREAT! Please love, don’t apologise for your existence, the world is blessed to have you in it, in all your messy, beautiful glory. The world needs more people embracing their true, authentic selves : @stacieswift

24.01.2022 Beautiful, honest things. The alchemy of the soul

24.01.2022 Addiction is something I grew up around, it’s something I’ve experienced myself. In fact I believe it’s something many of us do - just to varying degrees. Alcohol - drugs - food - shopping - social media apps etc. etc. Addictions come in all forms & intensities. Instead of passing judgement let’s seek understanding.... One of the most common aspects that contributes to the formation of addiction is a strong feeling of disconnection. People feel alone. They feel isolated. Feelings of joy & connectedness can be far & few between. They are disconnected from ‘self’, they are going through life unconsciously instead of living from their consciousness, they don’t feel the feeling of oneness - that we are all inherently connected to one another on some level. Let’s crack this open by beginning to share & be open to vulnerability, to be able to listen to a person share their hardships & be unafraid to share our own when we feel called to. Let’s let one another know that we are not alone but are united in our struggles. If you feel alone & are struggling with addiction I invite you to reach out & find community programs & groups that can help you. Find a trusted counsellor, professional, healer whatever resonates with you. A problem shared is a problem halved If you’d like help finding a support group feel free to DM me & I’ll point you in the right direction See more

23.01.2022 I hope wherever you are friends that you had the opportunity to step outside & appreciate this beautiful world this weekend. How incredible is Mother Nature? @ Westgate Park

21.01.2022 Hey friends Apologies for being MIA on social media the past few weeks. Truthfully I’ve been feeling a little lost, a little conflicted as to what I should be posting about & just a general feeling of being unsettled in life. ... I thought it was just me, but speaking to others I’ve been reminded that as a human, I’m also part of the collective consciousness. That I’m not the only soul experiencing this - we are all connected. It’s been a great reminder that when I’m struggling with something how important it is to include others on my experience & to not carry the load on my own. I have a tendency to withdraw & go within to find the answers (which is great) but often find I go too far & can isolate myself. By reaching out to talk to others about my struggles, I’ve given them the opportunity to open up & share their struggles too & to let them know if they’re feeling the same that they aren’t alone in it. It’s also a beautiful thing to give others the opportunity to support me. We rise by lifting others, sometimes by accepting help, you’re also helping another See more

20.01.2022 Are your pits enjoying the low-tox life friends? Easily overlooked, our deodorants & anti-perspirants are one of the products we should be swapping to reduce the toxic burden on our body. Conventional products include nasty ingredients such as aluminium which can accumulate in the breast tissue, parabens & phthalates & are all linked to an increased risk of cancer. In fact one study revealed that parabens were found in 99% of 160 tissue samples collected from 40 ma...stectomies We’re designed to sweat, when we use antiperspirants to stop this we prevent our bodies from eliminating toxins & reduce immune function. I’ve tried tonnes of natural deorderants & one of my faves that I’ve been using for months now is @woohoobody’s Mellow paste. It still allows me to sweat out toxins (yaaay) without any nasty smells. It doesn’t contain bicarb soda so is much less likely to cause any irritation in like many other brands ***this is not a sponsored post, as always just sharing the things I love with people I love See more

18.01.2022 Take a walk in the trees & breathe in the wild air. Nature’s ability to heal is far greater than we’ve been led to believe. There’s never a time that I feel more at peace, connected & whole than when I’m alone in nature. This was taken on a walk by Annette Lake when I was wandering in Jasper, Canada last year. Something about the Canadian Rockies connects with my soul like no other place, I can’t wait for another trip back Where’s your soul’s favourite place to wander... friends?

17.01.2022 Intuition - how dialled in is yours? Intuition doesn’t lie, you know what’s best for you - which foods, which form of exercise, which friendships, which job etc. The hard part is going within & listening to it, developing that unwavering trust. ... As an intuitive naturopath & healer I can guide you on your healing journey & teach you how to tap into your intuition so you can begin to heal yourself See more

11.01.2022 Look for the light within others, it is in each & every one of us

10.01.2022 We often hold many limiting beliefs surrounding ourselves & our health. When we hold onto these beliefs for too long we begin to subconsciously seek evidence to reinforce these beliefs & make them true. These beliefs keep us playing small & prevent us from growing. I invite you to explore the possibility of a healthier, happier you. What would that look like? What rituals would you incorporate into your daily life? What foods would you choose to eat? How would you ch...oose to move & celebrate your body? Go do these things. Take it one step at a time & step by step you’ll prove to yourself that you are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for. Often change isn’t easy. But you know what’s harder? Staying the same. Shrinking instead of growing. Letting fear control your life. Brave people are not free of fear, they feel the fear & do the scary thing anyway. Look within to find all you seek, it’s been there all along. See more

So good ... My soul is full, it’s been such an important reminder to me to make a conscious effort in the future to spend more time with people who are good for my soul Spend time with people who light you up & limit/avoid time with those who leave you feeling drained. @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

09.01.2022 Stress & trauma don’t have to be these huge catastrophic events, sometimes they are those little moments & emotional/mental programs developed in the early childhood years to help us cope with emotions & situations we aren’t yet able to comprehend. It can be the need to please parents or authority figures in order to feel accepted & protected, it can be the urge to hide our own pain & emotions in order to save the feelings of others - in these instances & more, when we d...on’t say ‘no’ and adjust ourselves to suit those around us rather than be true to our authentic selves, eventually our repressed emotions will build up until our body says ‘no’ for us, often manifesting in certain dis-ease states depending on the particular emotions repressed. In his book When the body says no, the cost of hidden stress Dr. Gabor Maté explores the psychological factors & emotional programs at play in the development of different diseases & conditions in the human body. I highly recommend this read to other health care practitioners & anyone interested in learning more about the connection between emotions & dis-ease. For those of you interested in learning more about the emotional & energetic factors that contribute to dis-ease & how I can assist your journey, feel free to contact me See more

01.01.2022 This includes yourself Be gentle, be compassionate. Imagine yourself as a small child, would you still talk to yourself the way you do? That child is still within & needs you. We worry too much about being acceptable to others, why don’t we reframe that & make our priority self acceptance?...

01.01.2022 I adore this beautiful description I read about St. John’s Wort last night St. John’s Wort is a powerful herb that has been used throughout history. Loosely translated, the first part of it’s botanical name translates to ‘rising above one’s demon’, fittingly it is commonly used in cases of depression as a natural alternative to anti-depressants. It has been found to markedly calm & uplift the spirits of those who take it. As always, consult with your natural health pr...actitioner before using to ensure it’s the right herb for you See more
