17.01.2022 The 2016 Manufacturing and Engineering Expo will be held on the 6th of October. This year our aim is to create a digital presence of the industry and the region. All exhibitors will have a short 2 minute movie put together of their operation which will be the displayed on the night. This footage will then be used to create a regional short movie of the industry, showcasing our capability to external markets. We would like to thank the Commonwealth bank again for all the support they continue to give us as well as the State Government, Minister John Barilaro, Minister Leslie Williams and the Department of Industry. Further information will be posted soon.

15.01.2022 Ben Fordham says Australian Manufacturing are not skilled enough to build submarines !!!!. Did he do his research or is he just following all the other journos who have written the industry off. He stated that the $ 195 billion spend outlined in the White Paper was such positive step forward for the country and our security and then said "however its not about employment we need the best built submarines and so we need to go offshore, if they are built in South Australia it... will be a political move to gain votes" I wrote on the Today Show's Facebook page, not in criticism but to challenge Ben's comments and to outline the many facts he had not considered before the off the cuff comment that continues the swell of negativity surrounding the industry. I asked them to look into the industry and maybe report their findings after they had gotten out of their office and actually meet the industry. The post was taken down within minutes. Australian industry has the capability and the capacity to undertake anything, just look at the opera house, that technology did not exist it was created that is what Australian Manufacturers do we find the solutions. Very disappointed.

07.01.2022 After another two weeks of negative media and being confronted with the we can't build ### in Australia we have decided that even before the digital expo in October is held we should be building some positive stories from our region. We would like to put a different company as the banner photo of IMNC, with a short message every week, building a portfolio of images that will showcase the capability within the region. Everyone is included if you make something and you do it within the Mid North Coast send a photo and a brief description to [email protected] and we will begin to post them next week.

05.01.2022 The first company to proudly be shown on our banner. Thank you to speedflow for supporting us in our bid to raise the regional manufacturing profile.
