23.01.2022 Hi all I know many have been affected by the fires. I also know many fundraisers have been, or are being run. Many have put their hands in their pockets, and dug deep as well. I am going to be the Emcee of two fundraisers, held at Dicey Riley's in Wollongong. Everyone that is involved in this, has donated their time, nobody is earning a cent. That's Dicey Riley's,12 bands, countless helpers, including myself.... We've been gifted with many prizes, which is fabulous, but the majority aren't in the Shoalhaven and beyond, which was hit hardest. What I am asking is, if you own an accommodation place, caravan park, Air B 'n B, or something to encourage people to spend time in the area, I'd love to hear from you. Maybe Stand Up Paddling, Kayak Hire, Mogo Zoo. I've obtained some local options, from Treetops Adventure to Dolphin Watch Cruises, but would love more. I know times are tough, and also understand if you cannot contribute. An idea, if this helps, donating a voucher that gives you a return. Buy one night, get one 1/2 price, One adult, one child, then if two adults, they pay the difference. If they don't use the voucher, it hasn't cost you anything, if they do, hopefully they'll spread the word, with photos :-) If you cannot donate, why don't you come along to one or even both events and have some time out, shake off some of the hurt

14.01.2022 G'day 'trivia tragics' ... Just an update on shows. Club Callala is still on every Tuesday night from 6:30pm It would be preferred if you brought your own pen...s, however, I will have sanitised pens available. All safety measures are in place at Callala and must be adhered to if they are to remain open. At this stage, there will be no shows at The Tav until ALL restrictions are lifted, so we need to keep doing the right thing. Same deal, all safety measures are in place at The Tav. Culburra Bowling Club are in a similar situation, so watch this space In the meantime, I will look for other potential venues, and/or, will go back to online trivia or video trivia. I will put more info on that in another post, as to how it will work. Stay safe, keep in touch with others by checking in on them on a regular basis. This latest wave of restrictions has hit harder for some than others.
