24.01.2022 We got some 2ID-PCSS made to our specs. This one is for a Barra Crank. Gotta Keepem separated long term storage solutions. Put on some Desno tape or other long term protective coating and then it’s ready to use when ready. No rust or dust or damage to your expensive crankshaft while doing the rest of your build.

20.01.2022 Just to show not everything goes according to plan. I was experimenting with a new concept of using an induction cooktop to heat some Conrods, besides smelling like fish and chips the temp got close to 230C but no cigar.

14.01.2022 2 separate Yamaha Jetski engines blocks, from different Jetskis, similar damage at opposite ends of the crankcases. One is definitely missing a piston and part of the rod Why is this so???????? That’s what I want to understand. Is it piston length vs diameter? Piston flutter/ slap at high revs? Why well I have a Yamaha KT100s rod and piston and the piston is a smaller bore (100cc) and longer piston overall. ... Yes I know the KT100S is a piston port engine, none the less something is not right. 12.01.2022 Update on the Yamaha Jetski blown engines The individual rod ends are not the same from factory, both small and large ends of both sets vary in mass. One engine has aftermarket pistons the other OEM. Both sets of rods have the same markings S, T & R yet different weights. Piston speeds <4000Ft/Min... Pistons good for 10526 rpm = 3999.88 Ft/Min So why did the rods let go??? Can it be the rod bolts? One set still has the bolts but a snapped rod. The other set has a full rod but a snapped rod big end minus the cap?

02.01.2022 The 355 Holden stroker out for it’s last wash prior to a mock buildup. While washing it we also tested the priority mains oiling to check for flow. Thankfully the oil pump will have more pressure than our suburbs mains pressure. No leaks on the oil line system. Don’t mind the big threaded plug at the end of the video, it will be the same as all of the others.
