It is determined on a case by case basis and will depend on the tutor's experience, previous performance (if applicable) as well as the students' year levels. Our minimum pay rate is $30/hour for junior tutors and could go up to around $65/hour for our most senior tutors .

01.01.2022 #FAQ Q: How many working hours does the centre expect part-time tutors to work? A: Your commitment... Please note there is a minimum working hour commitments to be a tutor at APL. We require that tutors commit a minimum of 6 hours per week of tutoring with us. Note that while this may not always occur, our expectation is that you need to be open to accepting additional jobs if you do not meet this requirement. This requirement may be satisfied by taking 6 students or a combination that adds up to 6 hours of work per week.
