21.01.2022 Session 9 of the Dan John's 10k swing challenge - 4500 swings in. Apologies for not sharing the first 8 sessions. . Here's a recap: 4 sessions a week, 500 swings each session (2000 swings a week) with standard 24kg... Week 1, The standard 10/15/25/50 x5 sets. With strength moves in between - squat 2 days, weighted pull-ups and presses on other days. Week 2, I modified it to 15/35/15/35 because my grip was failing in the last 2x 50s. Week 3, 15/35/15/35 sets are working well atm. . Why @coachdanjohn 's challenge? I took on this challenge to see how my knee held up after some torn cartilage 12 months ago. Pre challenge I found I was favouring my good leg with the swings, so wanted to grease the movement pattern. Working a treat so far . Next session I'll share a few sets at normal speed. See more
