23.01.2022 Yesterday I had the privilege of joining our wonderful local Sikh community at Vaisakhi celebrations in Tarneit. Victoria’s Sikh community is known for its generosity, love and warmth, they have been there for us during our most difficult periods and contribute so much to our multicultural state. Thank you to Tarneit Sikh Gurudwara for inviting me to share in this sacred celebration and a very Happy Vaisakhi to all who celebrate.

18.01.2022 A constant feeling of worry about job security meant former stonemason, Milé kept putting off taking a health assessment for silicosis. That was until he spoke with Dianne in WorkSafe Victoria's Health Assessment team. The Andrews Labor Government is committed to tough action on the use of engineered stone and we will continue to act to protect workers from this deadly disease.
15.01.2022 Almost 100,000 families across Victoria are benefitting from free kinder this year thanks to the Andrews Labor Government. Free kinder not only saves families thousands of dollars it gets more kids into kinder, provides important support for early childhood services and the profession, and helps more parents, especially women, into the workforce. It’s another reason why we’re the #EducationState
11.01.2022 Beeac brothers Tom and Bill Alston, of Stonyhurst Pastoral, introduced drones on their farm to muster in half the time. Increasing their productivity, it also came with less safety risks - "If you crash the drone, you can get another drone. But if I fall off a motorbike, that will impact my family and the farm," said Tom. For more farmer stories and safety support for your farm, visit the link below from WorkSafe Victoria.
06.01.2022 It was a pleasure to join with the local Sikh community at Melton Community Hall on the weekend on behalf of Minister Ros Spence MP to welcome in the Sikh New Year. Thank you to OESS for hosting a wonderful Vaisakhi Festival which celebrates the Sikh New Year and 1699, the year in which Sikhism was born as a collective faith. As one of the fastest growing religions in Victoria, this is certainly something to celebrate. It was fantastic to be able to gather together again safely in-person at this event and earlier this week in Tarneit to celebrate the rich diversity which is a hallmark of Victoria.
