We are asking that it be included in reopening at the same stage and time as Hairdressing and all other retail on October 26th. Tattoo Studios are subject to some of the strictest health guidelines already and have not been the source of any outbreaks of Covid-19. Many additional safety precautions can be implemented to insure the wellbeing of customers and staff. Including but not limited to, operating via appointment only, split shifts, perspex screens, cashless payment, temperature checks, disposable masks and face shields. The Industry has developed a Covid-19 plan and workplace safety checklist which is available to view on the Australian Tattooists Guild website. 23.01.2022 Hey everyone, We are currently in the progress of relocating, have been approved for a space and its just a matter of time before we are doing sweet tatties again We dont know how long it will take exactly, but are moving things along as fast as they can & will give everyone a date as soon as we can.... In regards to appointments pre corona times, ongoing work, new bookings, etc. Please contact the artists as we are currently focused on the move and there may delays in getting a reply. 22.01.2022 How exciting! Finally we have the go ahead to re-open. HOWEVER, we are in the middle of looking to relocate into a new shop somewhere around Hastings. It wont take us long but ]the bad news is, it WILL delay our re-opening by a couple of weeks. We are really keen to get all our pre booked and new customers back in so we will be touching base with you all as soon as we have an opening date. 18.01.2022 Afternoon folks, we will be relocating next to the post office in Hastings. It has taken a bit longer than expected with the transfer of studio and the normal ins and outs of relocating/setting up business has dragged out during Corona times. We were anticipating being up and running early July, but are looking at mid to late July if things go to plan ... Unfortunately, James will not be returning and as far as we are aware he is heading back to Adelaide. In regards to appointments & deposits with artists prior to covid, you will need to contact them via one of their social media platforms. 13.01.2022 Ink Transition is under new ownership and has relocated to 66 high st in hastings. We are still changing over accounts, details, etc. due to covid delays. In regards to previous artists, Hollie is thriving down in Frankston at shoreline doing her thing.... If seeking jaymz, chase HIM up as he is tattooing somewhere, as previous deposits and bookings with him are no longer anything to do with Ink Transition Tattoo Studio. I am yet to go through past records, books,vouchers, try consolidate and do the right thing by folks where I can although it is not my obligation. 10.01.2022 By now, most of you will have heard that James has decided to move back to South Australia. BUT, that doesnt mean the end of INK TRANSITION. We will staying in Hastings and are currently sussing out various options. We are excited to be continuing and will keep you updated once we finalise more details. JAMES will also come back as a guest artist from time to time to catch up with some of his customers. In the meantime, its business as usual so hit us up if you want any work done.

We continue to maintain vigilance in our cleaning cycles and are providing all the necessary hand cleaning essentials for our customers to use at any time. 08.01.2022 As many of you are probably aware, Scott Morrison announced the closure of tattoo studios from Midnight tonight for an indefinite period. It is with deep regret that Ink Transition is in this situation but wish to reassure customers that we will honour all vouchers and deposits and hold them over until such time as we are able to re-open. James will not be moving to Adelaide for the time being and he will honour his appointments when we can re-open. We are unable to provide any more information at this time but will keep you posted as things progress.
