Alana has her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and majored in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Alana has worked as a Specialist Support Coordinator, Neurofeedback technician and Provisional Psychologist in her previous roles. At InMotion Rehab, Alana specialises in New Employer services and completes the Vocational Assessments and Vocationa...l Counselling. 16.01.2022 Today one of our team is going to conduct a complex Activities of Daily Living Assessment- thats OT speak for assessing people at home and providing them with strategies to manage their injury or illness. We often conduct ADL assessments for people injured at work or in a car accident who may need domestic assistance during their recovery.

Nabeel has a Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Exercise Physiology. 11.01.2022 Meet the team: Neil Chand Neil is a Rehabilitation Consultant who graduated from the University of Sydney with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy. Neil also holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree with a major in Movement Science. Neil has worked in the hospital setting as well as in private practice as a Physiotherapist but has evolved into the role of a Rehabilitation Consultant to address his clients issues from a more holistic perspective. ... Neil is passionate about the rehabilitation process and getting clients back to health. Neil is heavily invested in evidence-based treatments and improving the quality of life for all his clients. In his downtime, Neil enjoys being involved in sports whether that be playing or watching (or losing money on) and has recently begun his journey in producing music.

09.01.2022 Some of have been busy over the last 2 weeks conducting ergonomic assessments for a new customer across several locations in Sydney. We have helped several people adjust their desk and chairs to minimise a range of musculoskeletal problems: sore shoulder, sore back and sore necks.

08.01.2022 As 2016 wraps up its a good time to reflect back on what we have been doing over the past year. 2016 has been extremely busy for us - hence very few facebook posts! Our business continues to go from strength to strength. We now have a solid permanent team of Rehab Professionals and key contract staff. In 2016 we continued to assist people return to work, perform pre employment assessments, drug and alcohol testing, hearing assessments, ergonomic assessments as well as exp...and further in providing WHS consulting services, completed several large Job Dictionaries, hosted the local council employee safety day and expanded our scope in managing non work related illnesses and into OT work for the NDIS. This week some of our team assisted two people with disabilities to return to swimming, an activity they had not been able to pursue for over 30 years. Its times like this that we pinch ourselves for being able to help so many people to return to activities that they need and want to do. So on to 2017! Theres still lots of work to do and we look forwards to continuing to contribute to better practices and better health outcomes!

05.01.2022 We are still operating business as usual however we have introduced a number of additional measures to minimise risk of COVID-19, including: - additional questions about possible exposure to COVID-19 when booking in appointments and pre employment assessments. - mandatory hand washing of clients prior to each appointment - delaying appointments if you are unwell ... - keeping our staff away from our office if they are sick- offering work from home or sick leave - offering Telehealth and teleconference appointments to those that are self isolated - hand washing by your assessor pre assessment (usual practice) - disinfecting equipment after use (usual practice) If you have any questions about our practices please ask to see a member of our management team.
