20.01.2022 Well members.the smashburger bbq held at our club was just awesome.i could not comprehend the amount of people who turned up.the patrons turned up at 11.00 and did not finish until around 4.00 when the burgers sold out.i estimate that there was at least 400 plus that came.the food was to die for. A bit disappointing that we did see more club members come along.this was a great success day for us not only financially but has put our club on the map. Thanks to all our volunteer members that helped out today. We will certinally be having this event again.

18.01.2022 Hi all happy New year.i am a bit disappointed by the response for the mixed doubles.at this stage there is only one name on the list. Please either put your name up by tomorrow or email me with your nomination/nominations.if there is no response then maybe will just have to either cancel to a later date or forget it or find another team and have a winner that night.if you can find a partner let me know and I will ring around.the club depends on these events not only for the funds but the inter-action of bowling members.if Im wasting my time organising these events then I will resign from the position and let someone else have the headaches. Regards Roy

16.01.2022 Hi all.been a while since i have posted anything. Been really busy with other things, however today we hosted the firies and played against them. It w as a really fun day and a good time had by all. I would especially like to make mention of the innaloo players who gave up there time to play, butna really special mention to the ladies who not only played there game this morning , was good enough to help out with numbers.I apologise for the times mentioned tombe there and pla...y, but was miss-informed, but all ended good. The firies ended up winning the day, but a couple of our teams were mentioned in the mix namely my team and chris palladinos. Don t forget we have the smash burger coming up very soon this month and also the trivia night on saturday the 8th april , so please get your teams together of six and put your name down on the sheet on the notice board. The new carpet has had great reveiws of all that have bowled on it, which is good news and feed back. Cheers for now 9 .

Bye for now.
15.01.2022 Hi all.it is disappointing with numbers of members helping out this Sunday for the bunning sausage sizzle. As we need a minimum of 5 people on each roster I dont have enough to spread the hours out.I cant expect people to put in 3 or 4 hours at a time and that is at this stage what is going to happen. This is a fund raiser for your club. Our last sizzle we had around 20 people which was an ideal number just giving each person a couple of hours,so please please let me know by Wednesday if you can help so I can let people know there roster. You can either let me know or contact the club and let them know. Cheers Roy boulay

There was two games that came down to the last end, with Chris Pallidino putting in a ripper bowl to kick the kitty back to pick up three shots giving them the win,but not to out do my partner Ross Smith. It came down to one bowl each from Ross Smith and Barry maniglio.they were holding shot and Ross had to bowl a perfect bowl to sneak in between other BOWLS and sit on the kitty, well he just did that and unfortunately Barr...y went wide, but it was neck to neck all through the game.take nothing away from Barry managlioand Jerimy obrien they played great. The final winners were: Roy Boulay and Ross Smith (20-19),John French and Bob edwards(19-14),BILL Tatton and Chris Pallidino (22-20) and Rob Marlon and Warrick liddell(29-13). Warrick and Rob will play against John and Bob and Ross and myself will play BILL and Chris this Friday night commencing at 7.00pm.would be Good to see members coming out and supporting the players. 12.01.2022 Hi everyone.as we all are aware, this virus is not too be taken lightly and has affected everyone. It is unfortunate that we have had to not only close the club, but also bowls. It is important that we, as a club that we keep in contact with each other in these hard times and make sure that if anyone needs help that they contact anyone from the club and ask, as i know that help will be given. Once this terrible virus has passed that we will once again get back on track, but u...ntil this time please be vigilant and do everything that has been asked to refrain from getting this . I would like to make special mention of the work the sportsman club committee has done to make sure the club has been properly locked down, but special mention too tammy for her constant work in making sure that all is followed through.
