13.01.2022 It is now very apparent how significant the Coronavirus is to our community and abroad. Here at Innate Vitality we are focused on ensuring the safety and health of all of our clientele and families. We have already implemented and will continue to apply the following: 1. If you have flu like symptoms, including fever, developing cough, sneeze, shortness of breath, fatigue or a sore throat within the last two weeks, we would kindling request that you do not attend the practi...ce for 14 days. 2. If you have traveled to China, South Korea, Italy or Iran in the past two weeks, please call ahead to the practice so we can reschedule or cancel your appointment. 3. If you develop symptoms within 24 hours after being at our clinic, please let us know immediately. 4. Our reception area is now cleaned and wiped down after each client, including treatment tables, pens, glasses, eftpos terminal, and shelves. We have removed the lollies (sorry kids) for obvious reasons, as well as the magazines. 5, There is hand sanitiser located at the reception desk, and we now ask individuals to swipe their own Health Fund cards and tap their own bank cards, which helps to protect everyone. 6. Tissues and Paper towels are used for each patient, and always have been, with Towels used during treatments being washed in high grade anti-bacterial wash. 7. As per always, Alex washes her hands thoroughly after each patient. 8. Please refrain from hand shaking and hugging friends and practitioners. As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolves, and with daily updates and information provided frequently by our government, we will continue to monitor and follow directions of our leaders. At this time, our clinic remains completed unaffected in operating hours, and will continue to do so unless government direction changes. Keep safe everyone, and we are here for you.

01.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE. Enhanced social distancing measures announced last night excludes health-related services including allied health services. Following its meeti...ng last night, the Prime Minister announced the National Cabinet had agreed to new and enhanced social distancing measures, building on those already in place. From midnight tonight many businesses that provide personal services involving a high degree of contact between those providing the service and patrons, cannot continue to operate. These services include beauty therapy, tanning, waxing and nail salons as well as tattoo, spa and massage parlours. These new restrictions do not apply to health-related services, including allied health services. The Prime Minister also urged all Australians to stay at home, unless shopping for essentials, travelling to and from work (if they cannot work from home), going to school and exercising. Australians are still permitted to attend medical and health appointments. For practitioners with massage therapists or myotherapists working in their practice, it is currently unclear if the exclusion also applies to these services when conducted within an allied health setting. These services typically take 30-60 minutes to provide. In his press conference last night the Prime Minister said hairdressers and barbershops could continue to provide these services but only if they strictly manage social distancing and limitations of the number of people in their premises (four square meters per person) and restrict the amount of time a patron is in the premises to no more than 30 minutes, preferably less. Whilst our practice remains opened at this time, we ask to not bring family members to your appointment if they are not coming to be treated. We also ask if everyone can be on time for their appointment, as we are stopping between clients to clean rooms, reception, and front door and common areas. If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible, so we do not have a number of people in the waiting room at one time. Thank you everyone and stay safe
