Summer has ended but don't forget to keep an eye on your skin. If you see a strange new mole on your skin or an old mole that’s started changing, be sure to see your GP right away, because an early diagnosis makes a big difference in your outcome.

14.01.2022 Coeliac disease affects approximately 1 in 70 Australians. However, around 80% of this number remain undiagnosed. This means the vast majority of Australians who have coeliac disease don’t yet know it. There are various symptoms, associated medical conditions and a genetic link that may indicate you are at an increased risk of having coeliac disease. Speak to your GP if you think you may be at risk. A diagnosis of coeliac disease is the first important step to managing symptoms and reducing the risks of long term health problems. #CoeliacAwarenessWeek

12.01.2022 You would have noticed recently that your doctor’s prescription appear a little different due to ‘active ingredient prescribing’. From February 2021, under new medicine regulations, doctors must include the active ingredient names when preparing prescriptions. This means most medicines will be prescribed by their active ingredient, not the brand name. You can however still choose your 'brand' of choice at the pharmacy. As always, we are here if you have any questions or concerns about your prescriptions.
