23.01.2022 This recipe looks a lot more complicated than it actually is. It’s one of my faves, and it comes together in just a few minutes. It’s even quicker to prepare if you pre-chop your veggies on the weekend. Have you tried frozen avocado yet? It’s definitely worth checking out. The night before you make this, I recommend taking your avocado out of the freezer, wrapping it in cling wrap so it doesn’t brown, and putting it in the refrigerator to thaw. ... Bonus: Starting your day with a dose of protein, veggies, and healthy fat will keep you feeling full and satisfied! Adding a side dish of a half-cup of berries is an optional healthy boost. Breakfast Burritos (Makes 2 burritos) Ingredients 1 tbsp olive oil cup (75 g) diced onion seeded & diced medium red or yellow bell pepper cup (30 g) drained & rinsed canned blacked beans Dash chili flakes 2 eggs + 2 egg whites 1 oz. (25 g) goat’s milk cheese, cubed (optional) 2 tbsp salsa cup tomatoes, diced avocado, cubed Your choice of burrito wrapper: gluten-free tortilla or large lettuce/collard leaves Your favorite hot sauce Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the onions and peppers until soften and slightly caramelized. Add beans and pepper flakes and cook until warmed through, 3-4 minutes. While the veggies are cooking, in a medium bowl whisk the eggs and egg whites, and then add the cheese. When the veggies are heated through, transfer to a dish and if necessary, spray the skillet with non-stick spray. Pour in the eggs and scramble, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat. To serve, spread each tortilla or lettuce leaf with some salsa, and then layer each with half of the black bean mixture, half the eggs, and half the tomato and avocado. Season with hot sauce. Roll up your tortilla or lettuce leaf like a burrito and enjoy!
23.01.2022 CONGRATS to our Challenge team who really did F@#K COVID The challenge has been going for the past 8 weeks and the overall results are amazing. The majority of the team lost body fat and gained some lean muscle which is a pretty tough thing to do !... All made great positive changes and learnt a little about their nutrition and the importance of food and your for getting results. They will tell you they did not have to give up enjoyable food and they were not on a restricted "diet". Many were eating more, have had increased energy, got rid of bloating and are sleeping better. OUR CHALLENGE WINNERS ARE - FEMALE - Fiona Liddell Fi lost a whopping 4.84% of body fat & increased her lean muscle. She lost 4.3kg of body fat. BUT here is an interesting stat for you. When she was weighed by Daniela before her scan, her face dropped and she devastated by the what she saw. The scales said she had lost just 1kg of weight !!!! Guys F@#K the scales please !! MALE - Ben Gibson Ben lost 2.1% body fat ... he did lose 0.5kg of lean dry muscle, so we need to work on getting that to increase for him. However he did have a big increase with his health markers. Phase angle increasing from 7.2 to 8.0 Nutrition coaching packs are available for anyone looking to hit some goals and make some changes.
