We would like to inform everyone that we are restricting our services to emergency patients only so we can better protect you and our team from the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a federal restriction to all dental practices and will be in effect immediately, until it is lifted. A Level 3 restriction on all dental practices means we will only see you if you have a tooth ache or facial swelling. 12.01.2022 As a small business we have found it difficult to keep everything going despite the government mandate to suspend 90% of our procedures. We can only do a very limited number of procedures now and are still paying all our rent because we know there are local landlords relying on us as well. This is also why we are a proud local business and prefer to work with other local businesses. BUPA is doing this after earning $564 million last year which boggles the mind! All this even... after they try to dictate where their clients can go to for their care. Luckily we have many patients who still choose to see us for the level of care they prefer. We prefer to work with local businesses as well because I want to live in a vibrant Launceston community which is viable, and this is best achieved when the money stays in the community. Dr Bing

10.01.2022 Why I do what I do David first came in worried that his teeth were breaking down. He told me that he wouldn’t be able to smile when his colleagues told a joke because he was so self conscious about his smile. He also wanted to make sure that his teeth would not keep breaking down. He wanted it done soon. And he had a budget so we had to make it affordable for him!... We spoke about what he wanted and decided on 6 same day ceramic crowns to rejuvenate his smile. What a difference if I may say! It was so hard to get him to smile for the before photo but it has been so easy, not to say the effect it has had on his confidence. 04.01.2022 I was going for a run along the river in town today when I noticed that there was a beautiful memorial dedicated to the Polish Pioneers in Launceston. The Polish Hall has been an integral part of the Launceston community from all the patients who tell me that they had their 18th/21st birthday party/dance practice/concert/wrestling match(!) in the building - I’m always so happy to share the experiences that our patients have had in there. It’s also always great when I can sho...w them how we have kept the original stage in the fitout! There was still a little bit of the Polish heritage that I have noticed while renovating the building and I’m so glad to see that the funds from the original sale of the Polish Hall was used to fund this very meaningful memorial in the city We’re always had a vision to establish a world class facility in Launceston for the long term from the first day we started and I think our practice in what was the Polish Hall is a great connection from the past into the future. 03.01.2022 ||CARING FOR YOU|| Dear patients, your health and safety is our priority. We pride ourselves on our high level of care and infection control standards. In view of the COVID-19 outbreak, we would like to share with you the additional precautionary measures we are adopting to help keep you and our team safe. If you are healthy, be assured that it is safe to continue attending your dental appointments. In fact, this might be the best time to get your teeth in order because you ...wouldn’t want to have a toothache if everyone is shut down and there is no dentist to see you. In that case the only option is the LGH and in such a time it is best to avoid overloading the system. On entry to the practice: We have kept the door open We have made a hand sanitising station for your convenience. We’d like to request that you clean your hands with wipes and hand sanitiser provided upon entry to the practice. We have removed magazines, books and toys for the time being. Our chairs have also been placed 1.5m apart for some distancing. Upon presentation to reception, we will carry out a temperature check and ask about your travel history or if you have come in close contact with a confirmed case. We ensure all staff members who attend work are fit and healthy. Every team member has their temperature taken twice daily and we have all completed the Covid-19 infection control training for healthcare workers. We have also placed barriers on our EFTPOS keypads which is changed with every patient and we are minimise handling of cash. Take care everyone Dr Bing

01.01.2022 When I first met this amazing person she was so upset that her grandson had asked her why her teeth were so discoloured and she had was sick of living with a smile she disliked and she felt was holding her back. We worked closely together and I am glad to have designed a smile that is now fuller, straighter, brighter to match her gorgeous personality and features so that she can smile with confidence ... Best thing is the after photo was taken 4 years after and it looks even better than 4 years ago now that she is smiling properly compared to before. I dare say that she even looks younger!
