24.01.2022 Sometimes it’s just cheaper and more cost effective to find replacement parts than repair old ones ! In this case we have sources and you guess it New old Stock front guards and a mint front apron panel for an ej Holden wagon we will be repairing shortly. Thanks to Mick and the boys at full throttle blasting for giving them a clean up prior to epoxy. The job will now be much cleaner and more cost effective in the long run

17.01.2022 Making some good progress on Alan's karmangia lately ! Just finished re fitting porche 356 headlights into the front guards , the headlights had already been done by another shop but they had very poor gaps and pointed off in all directions so after a lot of " on of on of on of to get them right , they are now done and fit great . The front half on the car is now ready for filler work and paint prep ! :)

17.01.2022 Hj 45 Landcruiser turn key restoration! We are wrapped to deliver this little truck back to the owner today the Landcruiser has been finished for a while now but has sat in storage due to the owner being stuck overseas because of COVID. This major restoration included chassis rebuild , engine and mechanicals, complete panel, paint and assembly topped off with restoring the original tray but a touch of more modern timber work.

13.01.2022 Prestige week @ Innovative Body Works! Audi RS3 in for new front bumper, new right front guard and door blend, we also repaired and painted left side skirt and rear door that had small damage. Job came up perfectly! Porsche Macan in for a tidy up, paintless dent repairs, and painting right front guard, bonnet, door and front bumper. This was then finished off with an exterior buff detail and brush touch.

11.01.2022 Had a visit today from an old customer, this Vh charger was number 2 off the Innovative Body Works production line! The car was around a 3 year build, extremely happy with how the panel and paint has held up after the last 9 years on the road whist also doing the rounds at many car shows collecting around 30 awards over the years. Such a nice piece of Australian motoring history hey charger

11.01.2022 Why buy a brand new Landcruiser when you can spend a little and tidy up the old one ? Quick sproose up included Paintless dent repairs, paint mirrors, paint bonnet and roof, headlight restoration, new front windscreen and polish the aluminium bullbar! We then finished this beauty off with a buff / detail and brush touch. The truck is now off to get a new tray !

11.01.2022 Innovative is Going Green for the Environment!!! We are proud to announce that the Installation of our new Waterborne PPG Paint System is now up and running!! We are excited to continue serving the local community in a more Environmentally Friendly way.

11.01.2022 Over the last 2 weeks we have repaired this little Mazda Mx5 - these little cars are now appreciating in value and becoming collector items, this one sustained rear end damage to beaver panel, boot floor, boot lid and rear bumper. With parts prices expensive and most stuff discontinued we managed to track down the last beaver panel in existence to carry out the repair, second hand boot lid and a new bar reinforcement and rear bumper. All other parts we managed to repair this ment the owner got to keep his car and it was not a total loss of and off to the wrecking yard! The customer was wrapped when he picked up his car this afternoon, good work by my tradesman who continue to deliver quality workmanship.

10.01.2022 Repairs completed on this Nissan 370Z The car had been run into from the back and pushed under a ute tray, this caused damage to both the front and rear of the car. Repaired and back on the road looking better than new! Did you know innovative body works uses all PPG enviro base paint, all premium paint products from start to finish! Nothing but the best for our customers.

10.01.2022 Hk gts Monaro in for repairs - This one owner Monaro had an accident whilst out on a car cruise in mount panorama! A young p plate driver thought he was king of the mountain until he lost it doing warp speeds and collided with the Monaro, thankfully not head on. Being the Monaro was a one owner car we wanted to make sure we did our best to repair it to better than pre accident condition, through a contact we managed to get New old stock right front guard, blinker lens and eyebrow mould. Other parts included refurbished and re chrome front bar, headlight surround, blinker surround and headlamp. The car also sustained some scratches down the side so we ended up doing an exterior re spray to keep the paint even and new all over ! Here is some before and after pics, and one happy customer now has his car back

We have now repaired the roof and re painted it, quick clean and detail and ready to go home tomorrow. This bus presents really well and is one innovative body works is very proud to have restored

05.01.2022 Just posting a quick recap of the past 9 years of operations at innovative body works from the time of starting in my uncles garage to moving into a shed in Helensburgh on my own, then to two sheds side by side with two full time employees , out growing that place and in need of a booth we then moved to fairy meadow where we grew and now also employed a full time painter . Fairy meadow shop saw us complete some amazing cars and build some good relationships especially with ga...teway Holden whom we restored an eh Holden for to display in there showroom , also through this business and personal relationship led us to be the shop who was repairing all there cars for a long period of time and that was then our stepping stone into smash repair work . After several years Innovative body works then decided to take over another smash shop and re locate back to Helensburgh where we did both restoration and smash repairs !! At present we only do cars pre 1980 mostly high standard restorations , hot rods and turn key cars . Specialists in metal fab work, high class body and paint and chassis modifications.
