At Mount Pleasant Tavern tonight the Sweaty Coconuts overcame a 1,500 point deficit at the start of the 4th round to storm to a win against 2nd place Red Hot Trivia Peppers. A big shout out to The Green Bowl and Fancy Willy who both made their Quizzame debut tonight.

13.01.2022 Despite not winning any of the first 3 rounds, Justin Time pulled off a remarkable come from behind win to take the $40 first prize tonight at Moss on Wood. That gave every team a win tonight, sharing the cash all round. The Red Hot Trivia Peppers were not able to overcome their 5000 point penalty and finished in third despite leading at the mid point of round 4. Well done to all teams for a great night tonight!

13.01.2022 After a long fight to restore some kind of normalcy in a Covid-19 reality, the pandemic experts have eased restrictions to ALMOST pre-lockdown levels. Now it's up to the venues to give us the green light, so we can return to our regular dose of Trivia medicine! Watch this page for further updates, and politely message your venues to ask them about our return. The fastest way back is through YOUR support. 13.01.2022 In light of the most recent announcement from Prime Minister Scott Morrison, it is with regret that I have to inform you that all Quizzame and Innquizitive events will be put on hold. It is disappointing that we will not be able to get together for our regular dose of mayhem and fun, but in the current climate the safety of us all, and those we hold dear, is paramount. For what it's worth, please accept the following tips:... * Support your local businesses and clubs, which have supported us with our Trivia shenanigans, by ordering take-away meals. Keeping your own routine and normalcy is important to everyone's mental welfare, plus it helps support your community. * Take any information you read with a grain of salt. Social Media and, increasingly, main-stream media makes it's money by delivering the most dramatic version of news and information. Keep informed by using the official websites offering the latest updates of information. * Check this page often. We will be up and running with about as much notice as we've been shut-down, so keep an eye out for when we will be returning. * In addition, I know our IT team is looking at ways we may be able to keep some kind of game going virtually. That could be really exciting. Thanks to you all for your continued support. Without you all, i'd just be an idiot talking into a microphone to nobody. I'm sure i'd be arrested for it at some point. Please, stay safe, and we'll all see each other soon.

07.01.2022 In an epic final round which began with 3 teams less than 200 points apart, it was only the final question which separated the Sweaty Coconuts from Broad Shoulders at Mount Pleasant Tavern tonight. Taking the win, the Sweaty Coconuts pocketed $70 for their efforts whilst Broad Shoulders didn't go home empty handed, winning $30 If their own. Well done all!
