22.01.2022 To shoot a wedding in my town is always a bit more than special. But this day, with Alex and Chris yesterday was all time. Perfectly sunny November day. A few familiar local faces including bumping into an old primary school friend I hadn’t seen for decades, reception and ceremony on Alex’s Mum and Dads farm around the corner from my house, and just the best bunch of fun loving, down to earth people you could possibly hope for. 18.01.2022 When creating an image, there is a lot that goes into the thought, preparation and experience that doesn't show when you glance at something you think is beautiful. This image is very special to me for many reasons. It's also very special to Genevieve and Alessandro for many more. I followed these two to Brisighella, Italy a few years ago. To start with it's Alessandro's birthplace. A place where the whole town knows you and your family, your upbringing, your passions and y...our achievements. When you move to Australia to be with the woman you love and raise two children it's not something that goes unnoticed. But when you return to marry her there many years later, it's something so special that it feels like the birds are singing extra loud and the trees are dancing in the wind just for the occasion. It's also one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to and it felt amazing to explore it while we were there. I kept thinking to myself what a wonderful life Alessandro must have experienced growing up there. Rolling hills with thousand year old castles and churches overlooking the town, Michelin star restaurants built into cliff side caves, gelatti shops you can sit at and have 2-3 serves because it really is THAT GOOD!, and warm, affectionate and kind locals that feel like old friends the minute you meet them. Genevieve was a lucky girl to find him so far away from home. But I also know how lucky Alessandro is to have found her. I've known Gen since she was a teenager. She is a "light-up-the-room" kind of girl and one of the most special and closest friends I could have hoped for in my life. When she finally found the man of her dreams all these years later, and asked me to capture her wedding day in Brisighella, it was like I was going to capture the wedding of my dreams too. The love in this image is not just a nice wedding photo, it's a story. And the best kind you can ever hope for in life. It hangs in their beautiful home in Adelaide, proudly as a reminder of what life is all about. And that's my job. Not just to press a shutter button, but to capture moments that will forever remind two people about how far they've come in this life to find each other and how much that means they have to look forward to. It's what we all live for.

12.01.2022 Tonight I shot my first new years eve wedding in 13 years behind the wedding lens. Usually my family would go out for chinese and be in bed by 9. I know. It’s lame. This year I got to hang out with these two legends. And it was a blast. I like these two so much I got home to a quiet house, turned on the computer, and decided I’d send them these shots of the day as a new years eve present 2 minutes before midnight. Happy New year to everyone. It’s going to be an amazing one. Lots of love xxx

09.01.2022 Review; Gosh! Where do I start. From the moment we contacted Paul I had a good feeling. He was so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. He truly took a genuine interest in our family so he could get photos that really captured our personalities. My husband and I had a small vow renewal ceremony on Meelup Beach. Paul was so incredibly helpful in the lead up to the day, and then on the actual day, wow above and beyond any expectations we had. Both of us, and our two girls a...ren’t used to having our pictures taken, but we loved every second of our photo shoot with Paul. He made us feel relaxed and comfortable and we had an absolute ball. So much fun and laughter. Only a short wait for the pics and looking at the album he made for us, made me relive the entire day over again. His photos are AMAZING!!! I am honestly blown away with every single shot. Most of which we never even knew he took. Super professional and just a great guy generally. I’m delighted with our photos and honestly, would be hesitant to go anywhere else now if we need photos again! Thankyou Paul for capturing our special day with the most beautiful photos. 08.01.2022 NEW REVIEW; We can’t recommend Paul enough as an amazing photographer. We got married on our farm property and photography on our special day was very important and personal to us. Paul captured the beautiful scenery and natural moments across our day with amazing landscape shots as well as intricate details of all the little things we didn’t get time to pay attention to at the time. We have had a tough time choosing which photos to get printed! Paul was so professional and ...easy going, it made for a great vibe on the day and we felt really comfortable and in safe hands. All our guests thought Paul was great and he really did help everything run so smoothly. Thank you Paul for helping make our dream day a reality and capturing it so well.
