25.01.2022 Devote one hour of gentle blissful yoga to yourself because you deserve it This Saturday at 9.45am. Energy exchange $15

25.01.2022 One of the reasons people turn to takeaway and processed food is because they feel time-poor or too tired at the end of the day to cook healthy whole real foods. What we’ve found works for us is weekly food prep. Most Sunday afternoons we set a couple of hours aside to prepare the weekly meals. It’s also awesome knowing what’s waiting for us for dinner at the end of the day

24.01.2022 Taking care of yourself includes eating whole, real plant-based foods most of time, moving your body every day in ways you enjoy, and practising something that fills your cup, whether it’s meditation, journaling, creating or mindful colouring. Managing stress is a big part of your overall health.

21.01.2022 Moving your body doesn’t need to be as structured as going to the gym. Find activities you enjoy, like dancing, bushwalking, swimming or gardening. You’re more likely to stick to it if you enjoy it

19.01.2022 This Saturday at 9.45am. Yin yoga is a slow, gentle practice. You remain on your mat for the whole class as we hold poses for a few minutes. This allows your muscle fibres to safely stretch and lengthen. Throughout the class, we focus on slow deep breaths and a quiet mind.... I promise you’ll feel blissed out at the end

19.01.2022 Here’s an opportunity for you to take just one hour for you. Find some balance in your busy life with a nurturing yin yoga class. We hold poses for several minutes and focus on slow deep breaths and finding stillness in the mind and body. Contact Rosa for further information

18.01.2022 Allow me to guide you through an hour of gentle long-held poses, deep breaths and stillness. This class is all about YOU - make the time to fill your cup.

16.01.2022 Move your body

15.01.2022 With only four weeks to go, we have just one place left for our Retreat! This is a great opportunity to spend a couple of days learning some great take-home skills to help you improve your health and wellness.

15.01.2022 Many people live in a mildly dehydrated state. Headaches, joint pain and back pain can be greatly reduced by drinking more water and eating more hydrating foods like fruits and vegetables.

14.01.2022 So many of us are carbophobes! We’ve been told that they make us fat which is not directly the truth! Carbohydrates are in fact very important for us, as they make glucose which is our body’s main energy source.

14.01.2022 Your motivation to nourish and move your body should come from love, not punishment. Love your body

13.01.2022 Eat yo greens - they’re packed with vitamins, minerals and fibre and low in calories.

13.01.2022 Health and well-being is the integration of good nutrition, regular movement and balanced mental health.

06.01.2022 No words needed

06.01.2022 Don’t take your health and time on earth for granted.

06.01.2022 We all know that exercise is healthy, however the thought of it can bring about feelings of dread, obligation and stress. Moving your body is important though, and doesn’t need to be something structured like going to the gym. It can be as simple and incidental as taking the stairs. Here are some reasons why movement is important :... 1. Mood enhancing and may help with anxiety and depression. Moving your body may also help alleviate stress. 2. Healthier lymphatic system - each time you move your limbs, you’re helping to pump lymphatic fluid around the body. This is important because the lymphatic system is part of our body’s immune system which is responsible for the removal of potentially harmful toxins and bacteria from the body. 3. Weight-bearing exercise is best for building and preserving bone density. It doesn’t mean you have to use weights, activities such as walking, dancing or using the stairs help to maintain bone strength. 4. Cognitive performance for people of all ages is improved by exercise. For example, in older adults, physical activity has been shown to increase the size of the hippocampus, responsible for memory, learning and emotion.

02.01.2022 We are inclined to take our health and wellbeing for granted, until we no longer have it.
