My simple tip: >> Set alarms/reminders every hour or so and walk a lap around your yard or house. Preferably use something really irritating like your oven timer that you cant avoid getting up for! ... But if you really cant convince yourself to take 1 short minute for that... >> Slide your chair back - straighten and bend your legs a few times, circle your ankles each way and stand up/sit down 5 times. 11.01.2022 With such sad (but understandable) news overnight about gyms and other venues needing to close, I can imagine many people feeling a bit lost about how they will stay fit and healthy in the coming months. It is so important we keep working on our physical health. If you are now looking for help as to how to strategise your exercise for the week, or if you’re not sure what exercise you can do with your injuries, please give me a call! For now (though it is uncertain for how ...long ) most physio’s are still allowed open, and we can help! 07.01.2022 I just discovered ‘Les mills on demand’ and it was just the motivation I needed to get that workout done that I put off all day. 20minutes in the park while the kids played Nb. 06.01.2022 I just felt the nudge to just encourage you all so... Life can be tough, especially in the middle of sickness, injury or confusing health conditions...I am not exempt. We all have our battles, we all need encouraging and we all have the ability to inspire others. ... I have learned that waiting for it to all be over, to be all sorted & for your problems to be solved... well, that may be a long wait... I have learned to now adopt the mindset of ‘who can I bless today in the midst of my battle’ & ‘what positives/what blessings can I find in my day?’ This mindset can help dig you out of your rut, and remind you that life isn’t just all about ‘me’, but also about those around us. As well as an intentional mindset, my friends and my faith are a huge support for me. In what ways can you make your journey a little easier or more meaningful? Sorry for the rambling, but I hope this has reached someone out there!
