23.01.2022 Ending the year energised and expanding with a week long backbend intensive! What a great journey, even I was uplifted as the teacher. How wonderful to challenge yourselves and see where it led you! Last night the teaching year finished with a very nourishing Restorative class, Sound Bath and a shared dinner. 13.01.2022 Hello dear people Well who would have thought in the last week, Ive taken my teaching online, taught 3 classes, participated in a meditation with my teacher on Melbourne, had a Zoom dance session, and attended couple of classes myself and a virtual funeral! Its a shock for many of us, probably 1/2 of Australia is currently unemployed. My business and work has changed overnight and I thank those of you who have transitioned with me, tested it out, offered feedback, offered s...upport and checked in if Im going ok. My hubby was out of work straight away but the government is being quiet generous so lets see. Now more than ever we need yoga for our body and mind. Our life has change very quickly and we need to keep connecting and finding inner calm. It was lovely to see you in the online classes. I will keep offering free classes for the next 2 weeks, transitioning to paid subscription on 13/4, and I am navigating that. Details below with new links to more free classes. 12.01.2022 Updates for Yoga and managing the Coronavirus, I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe, and feeling connected even though we are in social isolation. -Yoga is currently on this coming week. -Social distancing will be adhered to in class, we can fit 10-11 with appropriate space in between. -Props usage will be minimal, belts (that I will wash between classes in hot water), chairs and blocks that can be wiped down. No bolsters, blankets or eye pillows.... -Bring your own equipment if you have. -I will be taking orders for props as planning for the future, its possible Ill do classes online and you join from home. -If possible have a short hot shower before and after class. -After class gargle with salt, vinegar or lemon in warm water as an antibacterial for the throat. Its good to do this 2-3 x a day. -Take care! See more

10.01.2022 Yoga class are currently continuing in all locations with precautions being taken, I will post below. We break on 3rd April. I will update if this changes as things moving daily. More than ever we need to remain centred and calm. So much unknown and uncertainty. When social distancing is recommended how do we stay connected and supportive? Share food and goods, drop shopping for someone who is self isolating, car pool kids to school to avoid public transport, get creative... about work for those whos jobs have disappeared. Share seedlings for the garden...My wish is that through this experience we become more connected and supportive. Precautions being taken in class * Please wash your hands in the kitchen immediately on entering the yoga space before getting equipment, use paper towels to dry your hands. * Once you get your equipment keep it for your use only, do not share it. (The virus has been shown to last up to 24 hours -2 days on plastic, glass and metal surfaces (found no studies on material). There is a sufficient time frame between the Tuesday and Thursday class for any contaminants to be inactive. However I will be splitting equipment into 2 for the two Tuesday classes, so your consideration of this is appreciated. We may not have as many props to use. Monday and Fridays class at my house has 3 day gap between use, so considering current research, is ok. * Yoga in the Park is outdoors so lots of space between participants. * Bring your own mat if you have one. * If using an eye pillow first place a tissue over your eyes and then eye pillow on top, throw tissue away after use. * Do not come to class if you are ill, even mildly. (I will be canceling classes if I feel unwell) * Do not come to class if you traveled overseas in the last 2 weeks (wait the required 14 days before returning). * Do not come to class if someone youve been around is being tested for the virus * If you have any concerns please talk to me.

06.01.2022 In the eighth week of online Yoga classes! Im pleased to see many students attending 2 or even 3 classes a week, reaping the benefits! This is one of the advantages of classes at home easier to get there! As we testing slowly moving out of lockdown I will continue online class the rest of this term and see where we are at for face to face mid July. When we do go back I intend to keep 1-2 Online classes going weekly so you can attend more. 03.01.2022 It is with sadness and fondness that we farewell from this life, our dear freind and fellow yoga student Alie Kiewiet She passed over peacefully with family yesterday. Alie had cured herself naturally of breast cancer 20 years ago as many of us know, it re-emerged a few months ago. Alie was a freind, mentor and advisor with a real Dutch straight forward attitude. She was so excited when she could do a headstand in yoga and loved her classes. She told it as she saw it and was connected to other realms telling us what we needed to do firmly. I will miss my dear freind in the physical form and know that she is dancing, laughing and zapping things into life here and elsewhere. Much love to her family. Love you Alie, safe passage dear one
