25.01.2022 Touching words from one of our Vendors! Real estate excellence at its best The InStyle team provided relevant, timely and accessible real estate service excellence to us during the property marketing and sale period. We greatly appreciated the professionalism, integrity and highly personalised service of the InStyle and consequently migrated our property management business to them for this reason. Bruce is definitely a strong and fair negotiator for all stakeholders and ensured the end to end property sale and property management experience was of the highest possible standard and successful result. Working in the service industry myself I was incredibly impressed with Bruce and the team and would definitely recommend their services to friends, family and colleagues. Thank you immensely to the InStyle team! Vendor

21.01.2022 Styling Tip #stylingtips #decorating #brisbanerealestate #addinggreenery #decortips Add a touch of greenery In our experience, one of the easiest additions you can make to help your home feel more inviting at the inspection times is flowers and greenery. We all love a bit of greenery and the freshness that some plants can bring. Whether it’s the large pot plant in your living room or a vase of fresh flowers on the kitchen bench, make sure you have plants and flowers dotted around the house. It makes your home feel more welcoming and homely.

08.01.2022 Creating Spaces that Sell (with InStyle Realty, Brisbane). If you have ever stepped into an empty house with the thought of purchasing it you will have experienced a feeling of confusion, perhaps. Wondering whether your furniture would fit, if the room is too small and how much furniture in there would make the room too cluttered... We are constantly told to view a property as a blank canvass and bring our imagination to the party. But really, how effective is that? Would see...ing furniture in the rooms actually sell the property better? Most people we talk to cannot accurately see the way an empty house could be used. There are not the visual cues to give dimension or a sense of space and that makes it hard. To be honest there have been times that we have walked into properties thinking the exact same thing ourselves. Our experience is that not only do properties that are styled sell faster, but they also achieve a higher sale price. There are many reasons why someone might be selling an empty house. It could be a newly built display home or a recently moved out tenant. Maybe the owners have found a new home and have moved on already. Whatever the reason, the owners will be experiencing ever-increasing costs. These costs will include things such as insurance, the monthly mortgage and maintenance on the property. The house needs to be sold as soon as possible but unfortunately, empty homes don’t sell as fast as furnished ones.... but why not? Usually, an empty house has no emotional connection with the buyers. See more

04.01.2022 Styling Tips From InStyle Realty

03.01.2022 Ever wondered what your home looked like in the 1960s and 70s? About 50 years ago, Frank and Eunice Corley drove from Bundaberg to Beenleigh taking snapshots of suburban streets. It’s estimated they photographed about a quarter of a million homes, with two-thirds sold and the remaining 61,000 donated to the State Library of Queensland. Let me know if you can spot your home! ... https://explorer.corley.slq.qld.gov.au/
