25.01.2022 " The basic premise of the Biological Replacement of Elements Theory is that the body has a preference for the elements which it uses for optimal biological fu...nctions. The body is intelligent and goal-orientated and the accumulation of toxic elements in the tissues occurs for a reason or purpose. Poor health is associated with enzymes functioning with second or third-choice mineral activators, due to deficiencies of preferred minerals or an excess of toxic minerals in the body. Some examples of elements substituting other elements, in critical enzyme binding sites include: -Calcium can be substituted by Lead. -Zinc can be substituted by Cadmium, Mercury and Nickel. -Selenium can be substituted by Mercury. -Chromium can be substituted by Lead and Cadmium. -Phosphorus can be substituted by Lead and Arsenic. -Potassium can be substituted by Rubidium. -Boron and Silica can be substituted by Aluminium. -Iodine and Chloride can be substituted by Fluorine, Fluoride, Bromine and Bromide. 25.01.2022 Food can impact metabolism in many ways and almost all foods contribute to an increase in metabolic rate. However, some more than others. This allows us to classify the nature of foods as either stimulatory or sedative. There are at least three different factors which can help classify foods. Specific Dynamic Action (SDA)... Substances which naturally occur in the food which inhibit mineral absorption, and The vitamin and mineral dominance which is prevalent in the food. https://mineralbalancing.org/inte/food-and-metabolic-typing #mineral #balancing #oxidation #rate #nutrition

25.01.2022 Healthy hair depends on the blood supply for the nourishment that is required for adequate functioning, structure, growth, and, development. It is no surprise that diet and mineral levels play an important role in the health of hair.

24.01.2022 While on a Mineral Balancing Program, you may experience some emotional or physical discomfort. We call these a metabolic release. If these are too much to handle, it is always a good idea to stop it temporarily for a day or two. If the physical discomfort is severe, take a week or so, and then continue the program. Flare-ups or side-effects on a mineral balancing program are actually a result of a metabolic release of an old pattern. They occur only while the body attemp...ts to change. Since this program is designed to shift and balance body chemistry, there can be a temporary manifestation of symptoms. But these are not side-effects. These are not always easy to tolerate while on a mineral balancing program. It takes dedication and perseverance to balance your mineral levels and heal your own body. 23.01.2022 The toxic effects of copper have been becoming more prevalent since the early ’80s. However, we have reached a point where the potential for copper excess is paramount. Estrogens, xenoestrogens, and increased copper retention in the kidneys, can contribute to a vicious cycle of estrogen dominance. As copper levels increase beyond healthy levels, the function of the liver becomes disrupted and can therefore no longer neutralise toxic chemicals or estrogen in the blood. ... 22.01.2022 Monitor your selenium tissue levels today with a hair tissue mineral analysis! "The study, published in print on May 16 and online May 2 in Cell, found that selenium drives a molecular response in brain cells that protects them from a cell-killing process arising in the hours after stroke. Delivering a selenium-based therapy that crosses easily from the bloodstream into the brain prevented brain damage and motor and sensory impairment in mouse models of stroke." Selenopeptid...es might also help in treating selenium deficiency, a condition that can lead to infertility and a range of other illnesses, and is thought to affect more than a billion people worldwide, https://news.weill.cornell.edu//a-new-strategy-for-protect

18.01.2022 Check out this video of Dr Douglas Ash in 1962 sharing his unique idea of using naturally occurring minerals to fortify common food to saturate the body's tissues so that it does not absorb radioactive elements from nuclear fallout. In his example, he uses a lolipop. Using this same ideaology, Mineral Balancing Programs can also be effective at saturating the body with its preferred elements so that the toxic elements are not absorbed. This is concept which we call the Biolo...gical Replacement of Elements. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kThVu3kIheE #mineralbalancing #nutrition #biologicalreplacementofelements

18.01.2022 Another example of the shortcoming of the Ridiculous Dietary Arbitraries (RDA). "...researchers concluded that the levels of vitamin E necessary to reduce oxidative stress -- as measured by accepted biomarkers of lipid peroxidation -- are about 1,600 to 3,200 I.U. daily, or four to eight times higher than those used in almost all past clinical trials." In lab, animal or human studies, there's evidence that vitamin E can reduce oxidative stress, inhibit formation of atheroscl...erotic lesions, slow aortic thickening, lower inflammation, and reduce platelet adhesion. Some human studies using lower levels of vitamin E supplements, such as 100 to 400 I.U. a day, have shown benefits in reducing cardiovascular disease risk, and others have not. An underlying assumption was that these levels were more than adequate to reduce oxidative stress, since they far exceeded the "recommended dietary allowance" or RDA for the vitamin, a level adequate to prevent deficiency disease." https://www.sciencedaily.com/releas/2007//070923193622.htm

14.01.2022 "The climate problem is so humongous, it cannot be solved effectively unless agriculture and soil are part of the overall agenda. Soil, by itself, cannot solve ...the climate problem, but it has to be part of the solution. The most economic, natural, low-hanging fruit is restoring soil. I published a paper showing that soil can sequester about 180 gigatons. Some soils are more degraded than others. Vegetation can add back another 150 gigatons, so, in total, about 330 gigatons could theoretically be added back between 2020 and 2100. If it happened, it would draw down the atmospheric carbon dioxide amount by about 150 ppm. Even if only one-third of that happened, it is still more than 50 ppm."

10.01.2022 "Whether you are new to Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, or you have been testing your mineral levels over a prolonged period and following a Mineral Balancing Program, odds are that you have come across the Four-Lows pattern." "This pattern is one of the most difficult patterns to correct, perhaps alongside with copper toxicity. But it can be corrected when one follows a Mineral Balancing Program. When a person does not follow a Mineral Balancing Program, they will likely rem...ain in this pattern indefinitely. One reason for this is that a person in four-lows is in a state of exhaustion and chronic tiredness so they typically have an affinity for stimulants, such as caffeine, tobacco, or high-dose b-vitamins, to enhance their energy level. " To read more on the four low pattern check out https://mineralbalancing.org/integrative-/four-lows-pattern

06.01.2022 "Aside from ageing, there are several factors that bring about premature greying, including dietary deficiencies, disorders such as alopecia areata or vitiligo, and stress. Zhang et al. set out to test the role of stress in the greying process in mice. They exposed the animals to three different stressors pain, restraint and a model of psychological stress during different phases of hair growth. Each stressor caused depletion of MeSCs from the bulge region, eventually lea...ding to the development of patches of white hair." https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-019-03949-8 #hair #copper #nutritionalbalancing #mineralbalancing

04.01.2022 Every single one of us is unique. We have different lifestyles, preferences and live in different environments. We have different thought patterns. memories, genetic histories, height and weights. However, as humans, there still remains some common threads which help us design a mineral balancing program that is more in tune with one’s biological individuality and current nutritional status rather than making assumptions, generalisations and using cookie-cutter templates that... are common in nutritional therapies. Metabolic Typing allows us to begin to develop nutritional programs that are much more personalised, instead of treating every person as if they are the same. We find that when it is used clinically, it is particularly useful in the treatment and prevention of chronic health conditions. This is because it transcends the symptom-based, one-sized fits all approach of modern allopathy and modern nutritional or herbal sciences. By providing the person with specific nutrients that are required to balance their oxidation, we can begin to correct total body chemistry and support our inner physician. https://www.johnbumpus.com//metabolic-typing-amp-the-oxida #metabolism #HTMA #Mineralbalancing

04.01.2022 Of the 20,000-25,000 human genes, our Cerebrospinal Fluid (#CSF) directly affects 11,434 of these. 44 minerals have been found in human CSF in total, accounting for 7041 of the #genes that are influenced by CSF. Thus 61% of the genes that CSF are governed by minerals. However, we do not test for all 44 of these minerals sadly. Only 34 of the 44 minerals are measured on an HTMA.... Even still, the total genes affected by the minerals in an #HTMA is 5,693. This means that #mineral #balancing with HTMA is a #nutrigenomic therapy that can affect our genetic expression.

03.01.2022 We often hear that it’s important to eat a well-balanced diet, containing at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables, for us to be healthy. 03.01.2022 Not a day goes by where I don’t receive a message regarding histamine. Histamine is the substance that the body makes when it is trying to create a tissue immune response is the main cause of this swelling of tissue and attracts immune agents to the required area. For example if someone is stung by a bee, the histamine causes swelling of the tissue to dilute the poison so it will not cause any further damage. What many people do not realise, is that the mineral zinc is used i...n the storage of histamine. So, after the poison has been dealt with by the immune system, the tissue releases a substance called ‘histaminase’, or diaminoxidase (DAO), which breaks down the histamine and the tissue goes back to normalcy. If it did not, then the swelling would remain too long. What many do not realise, is that copper is essential for the histaminase enzyme.
