They should only be used when authorised and as a last resort, to prevent or protect people from harm. Interchange is currently reviewing our services to ensure that Restrictive Practices are not used without authorisation of a behaviour support practitioner and documented in... a behaviour support plan. We are working together with you, your family, your guardian, your support workers and other industry professionals to ensure you are safe. 21.01.2022 For the first time in my life, I feel that this career gives me a sense of purpose. Tina Portelli is our NDIS Administration and part of the Interchange family, for the past 5 years. Her previous employment has never given her the feeling of supporting her community. 20.01.2022 Go Rita GOOOOOO Get ready for the feathers to fly when the West Coast Eagles take on the Collingwood Magpies in a blockbuster Elimination Final on Saturday at Optus Stadium. 05.01.2022 September is FASD Awareness Month! Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is a diagnostic term used to describe impacts on the brain and body of individuals prenatally exposed to alcohol. It is estimated that 2-5% of Australians have FASD - a lifelong disability, which can impact motor skills, physical health, learning, memory, attention, communication, emotional regulation, and social skills. The FASD Awareness Campaign aims to highlight the importance of staying alcohol fre...e throughout pregnancy. The message: There is no safe level of alcohol during pregnancy! The goal: to raise awareness but also give a voice and support to those affected by prenatal alcohol exposure so they can reach their full potential.
