18.01.2022 Blues fullback Garry Jack represented New South Wales 17 times from 1984 to 1989, scoring a single try. He was named one of the all-time Origin Greats in 2005. His career with the national side during the same period was more fruitful. 14.01.2022 According to The Telegraph, New South Wales’ Garry Jack featured in the fourth greatest Origin moment of all time. Unfortunately, it was on the receiving end of the great Wally Lewis’ majesty. In 1987’s Game 1, ‘The King’ picked up a stray ball 40 metres out and ran in a famous try past Chris Mortimer and Laurie Daley, before coming to full back Jack, whom he carried over the tryline with him.
