For a marriage that occurred in NSW, you can apply online, by post, or in person at a service centre. Certificates are sent to you by the Registry, using registered post. You cant get a certificate from a service centre.

This applies to outdoor weddings and weddings on residential properties. If the wedding takes place in a place of worship, there must be no more than 100 guests, subject to the 4 square metre rule.
