24.01.2022 Is your CCTV system a little bit long in the tooth? Would you like to be able to see your systems cameras on your smart phone? If youve got wired internet, then one of these units should get you on your way. Ask us how.

23.01.2022 Well - dont I feel like an idiot! (I blame the celebrating)... Yesterday I left my Perth Wildcats backpack at the Championship Ceremony in the City. Its a bl...ack backpack with a Perth Wildcats logo, GH initials and the number 4 embroidered on the front. There are a number of treasured items in there (including my wedding ring) and Im happy to pay a reward in order to get it back. Id appreciate the help if people could share this post and help me track it down! See more

20.01.2022 Don't let the NBN hold your alarm system to ransom. This 3G Dialler can give you piece of mind. Ask us how.

19.01.2022 I saw this on a cousins Facebook page. Too good not to share.

19.01.2022 A good article about what to consider when choosing your CCTV system, especially in regards to camera lens selection. Pros and Cons of Wide Angle CCTV Camera Lenses Are there conditions in which wide angle lenses are ideal?... A camera lens is ideal if it gives court admissible evidence such as face recognition, from the front to the rear of its assigned target area. Every lens is a double-edged sword. Long focal lengths concentrate pixels and give lovely compression at huge distances but you can rob some poor soul under the cameras nose and it will not see you. A wide lens has a tiny hyperfocal distance and for half the distance on the lens side of hyperfocal and all the way past hyperfocal to infinity, everything in the scene will be more or less in focus. However, the wide lens will spread pixels and this means that from a relatively close depth of field say 12 metres you may lose fine detail like faces, tattoos, shoe designs and other details investigators love. This is the anguish of lensing but you can manage your way around this. Scentre Group, the manager of Westfield shopping centres, spends serious money on cameras for the entrances of its stores and then economises a little in other areas. It does so because once you can associate faces and clothing in high resolution, its possible to do it elsewhere in lower res to create an investigative trail that is thoroughly court admissible. So, no, we dont dislike wide its the best for situational awareness and story-telling, giving a good sense of depth of field. However, unless you use higher resolution sensors, it will be a little soft on the monitor, softer on digital zoom and there will be distortions outside the centre that will make it softer still. Its a balancing act. People often argue that you can ignore the edges if the centre is sharp and distortion-free but we would say never go wider than you must in a video surveillance application youre throwing away detail investigators will later wish they had.

18.01.2022 Type "YES!!" if you AGREE! :)

18.01.2022 Have you ever come home and thought that something seemed a little different, but you couldn't put your finger on it? Would you like to be able to watch your place 24/7? Let's talk. ... https://go.servicem8.com/request_booking

13.01.2022 5 x 4MP Dahua cameras on a FLIR NVR. Lets have those vandals come back now :-)

12.01.2022 The change in the weather has brought a few bugs out and some nuisance alarm issues for one particular customer in Canning Vale (found the tiniest dead cockroach inside the detector... sneaky little bugger!). If youre having similar problems, spray some surface spray AROUND the detector. NEVER directly on it. If you think something stranger than that might be going on at your place, then drop us a line.... happy to help.

11.01.2022 If youre already on the NBN, or its on its way to your place soon, heres further reinforcement to the argument to install a 3G Dialler to your alarm system. We were just informed by a Telstra Technician that a customers alarm panel would lose the ability to dial out in the event of a power blackout that lasted longer than 2 hours. This is something that would not happen under the previous telecommunications infrastructure. If security is important to you, we strongly recommend that you remove your alarm system from the NBN. Ask us about your options today. This story from Today Tonight Adelaide back in Oct 2016, is still as relevant today, as it was then.

10.01.2022 ".... exceeded my expectations" is what we told yesterday after installing a Yale Easy Fit Smartphone Alarm System and Omgate Gate Controller. Another very happy customer that were proud to have been able to help :-)

07.01.2022 Job done. Leaving down Goddard Street towards Orrong Road.

06.01.2022 The Perth Footy Club, West Coast Eagles Footy Club & more importantly, the WA Police, would be more than interested in anyone who might be able to help them identify the couple in the videos below here, who colourfully asked the West Coast Eagles to go away, by writing their message on the front wall of the Perth Football Club.
