25.01.2022 Dreaming Big - by Dwayne Good Promoting the Dream Summit Sydney and Indigenous entrepreneurship, this Sep. All too often, in the media and in general public discussions, the conversation around Reconciliation and Indigenous people’s rightful struggle for economic independence is presented in a way that leads to what is known as a ‘deficit discourse’. 10.01.2022 We’re very proud of the Wellah Fellas and the Spark Health team that recently completed the very challenging #Kokoda Track. And we’re also chuffed that In Travel Group supported this epic adventure with flights and accommodation. Spark Health is an Aboriginal-led social enterprise (profit for purpose business) that specialises in health promotion and Aboriginal Community engagement. The team are passionate about engaging with Community to design, develop and deliver health pr...omotion programs and resources. In 2019, Spark Health designed and delivered the ‘Wellah Walks to Kokoda’ program. It created the unique opportunity for young Aboriginal people to grow leadership attributes, improve cultural knowledge and strengthen identity and increase connections with other deadly Aboriginal youth in a positive environment. The final challenge for the program was to complete the gruelling Kokoda track in Papua New Guinea. Isaac Muller, one of the Wellah Fella participants, wrote an article for us about his experience. https://www.intravelgroup.com.au//12/12/Reporting-from-Kok
