23.01.2022 One week till our Come & Try Netball Day! Session now for Year 1 Students or Students in Year 2 who have not played Netball before. The Iona Netball Club is excited to be holding a Come & Try session on Thursday, 26th November 2020, 3:30 pm 5 pm, at the IONA Sports Centre for students in Year 1 or Year 2 (new to netball) If your daughter or son is considering playing netball in 2021 we would love to see you! This is a great way to check out what we do and is a fun opportuni...ty for young players to ask questions and become familiar with the sport and the training environment. Please pack a drink bottle and sports shoes. Participating students will be met by an Iona netball representative at kiss and drop at 3:15pm to take them into the sports centre. 16.01.2022 We would like to invite you to attend the annual general meeting of the Iona Netball Club. It will be held on Tuesday 27th October at 6.30 pm. The AGM will see all Executive Committee positions declared vacant and new appointments made. Position description statements are available to review if you wish to nominate or be nominated for a position on the committte. Please email [email protected] For a copy of these. ... We will meet outside the Iona Sport stadium. Entrance to the school will be through the Columba Cottage gate. The main gates will be closed. In our short 3 year history Iona Sports club's membership has grown to over 600 p...layers and we have achieved so much including Premierships in Football and Netball and this year we have expanded into Futsal, Basketball, Volleyball and Beach Volleyball which commences tonight (21/10/20) at Oxley Beach.
