25.01.2022 This is the company that we have alerted Division 3 Councillors Andrew Fechner and Marnie Doyle to the non-compliance at their Ipswich operation. It appears that because there is a relationship between the ICC and Cleanaway, there is no appetite to take action. https://www.hawkesburygazette.com.au//south-windsor-clean/
22.01.2022 Resistance is growing. We will never back down.
21.01.2022 Another fire at another waste industry operator in Ipswich. This time the fire was at SEQ Waste and Recycling on Mt Crosby Rd, North Tivoli. Lets hope the Division 4 Councillors Milligan and Kunzelmann do something about this. https://www.qt.com.au//waste-fire-burnt-asbestos-/4143318/
20.01.2022 At Redbank Plaza now. The resistance is building.
14.01.2022 Cleanaway yet again in the news for the wrong reasons and proving that they are not good corporate citizens. https://www.afr.com//negative-leave-plan-truckie-pay-clawb
13.01.2022 IRATE would like to thank the motorists of Ipswich for their support and encouragement during our 3 month roadside campaign, opposing dumps and incinerators for Ipswich. The tooting of horns, waves and words of encouragement kept our spirits high. It's now over to you. Make your voice and vote count. Send Labour your message. Thanks, Maree

06.01.2022 A protest outside Remondis Headquarters in Rocklea has disrupted operations this morning. Protestors are against the proposed Remondis waste incinerator for Swanbank Ipswich, and the health and environmental implications for residents.
02.01.2022 Zero waste is climate justice. "Dr Anne Velenturf, from the Resource Recovery from Waste academic research programme, said: Building energy-from-waste plants n...ow, when we need to decarbonise, is inconsistent with the Paris agreement and the UK’s legally binding net zero commitments. Ministers must consider whether planned construction of incinerators is compliant with climate obligations, otherwise the government effectively inhibits the decarbonisation of the UK economy.
