19.01.2022 Western Australia budget released yesterday...40+ billion spend planned for infra and constructioon projects over next year alone....1000 people arriving to live in WA per week...the boom is only starting here..minimg, oil and gas, infra, construction. 18.01.2022 hi to all our fans. we have been told time and time again that irish people find it hard to get 'genuine' advice on visas, schools, cost of living, childcare, wages etc. in oz? to help out, we are thinking of launching a monthly whitepaper / newsletter with facts and figures to help irish readers get a real understanding of living in oz. This would include tips and tricks and real life experiences from irish people whom have already made the journey. Things like setting up a... business, sending kids to school, sports, lifestyle, pets, rent, mortgages, jobs and visas would be included as topics. We would later on hold seminars and webinars on these topics and would provide a blog . We are thinking a low cost of 5 Euro per monthly newsletter would be reasonable? We have to charge to cover editing and validation costs. Comments welcome. What do you think? Would this interest you? See more

12.01.2022 WA is worst state for shark attacks (according to latest statistics)..so be sure to swim/surf safe and avoid going where few people go...stick to between the flags !
12.01.2022 tip: make sure your irish passport is valid for a year minimum before you move to oz, otherwise it is a bit of a pain to get it extended / renewd while you are here (it can be done but costs $ and time)
