23.01.2022 Crew are onsite trying to restore power to Ironbark homes north of the pool. Endeavour energy claim it should be restored by 12.30am. Grey gums is also affected.

23.01.2022 Would you look at that! We have a sign.

22.01.2022 Id love to start a fire in the bedrooms of the kids who think this is their swing to burn. I'm baffled at the stupidity of some people. -JJ

22.01.2022 Anyone unfortunate enough to know these 2 degenerates? Lit a fire on a table in the park this afternoon. Not a great photo, dash cam rear camera got them riding past.Might be recognisable by the bikes and jackets. Thanks to a quick thinking resident in the right place at the right time who called emergency services and got the fire off the table and onto the ground.

21.01.2022 I wish I took a before photo. 7 shopping trolleys, 3 milk crates, dozens of empty cans, dozens of water bottles, rubbish and a whipper snipper cleaned out of this park hideaway. Thank you to the friends of the community who helped clean this out. If you see a stray trolley please call Coles or Woolworths or Martellis requesting it be collected. Otherwise they will end up in the creek with the other dozen still in there.

21.01.2022 Does anyone know what that noise is that starts around 7am that kind of sounds like a model plane or whipper snipper? It happens every day?

20.01.2022 Please RSVP asap. These are always great nights.

19.01.2022 Update on camp stinky, the jig is up! Word has got around they have been busted and they destroyed their own construction!! Appears they have no intention of coming back!

19.01.2022 In addition to the QH LAC report below, we have had reports from security about a suspicious black new Mitsubishi Lancer with Red P Plates. 4 young adults with beanies, hooded jumpers (in this heat!!) roaming around Ironbark 12.30am-1.30am last night. Parking out the front of the park and walking from the school to well past the pond. Once they saw security making a call (to the police) they took off very quickly. Please ensure all garage doors are closed and outside vehicles are locked.

19.01.2022 2 years ago it became my ambition to bring disappointment and sadness to those poor melting, dehydrated kids.....who are NOT residents of Ironbark estate. Each of us has probably seen first hand the most nimble of a gang leap over the fence and push the button to let in the other conspirators. Alternatively the most lanky or dexterous reach a bean pole of an arm through and depress the button to the salivating delight of the pimply faced shorter youths huddled around the ga...te. TODAY it just became very inconvenient. Swipe in......swipe out. Remember this is your pool. If it happened to be placed in your back yard, would you be happy to let some random kids jump the fence and swim till their hearts content? You wouldn't. You all own a part of this pool and you should treat it as such. If you see someone jump the fence, you have all the rights in the world to boot them out. No swipe tag, no entry. The fact is, it's the fence jumpers that are the ones making it uncomfortable for residents. They have intimidated residents and their children, insisted on using horrible language around young ones, endangered others by jumping from the roof. Enough is enough. It's our pool and this summer, Ironbark will enjoy it. Happy swimming. Jared

17.01.2022 Police attached to Quakers Hill LAC are urging the community to contact police immediately if they see any suspicious vehicles and/or persons in their area, esp...ecially in the early hours of the morning. Police have received reports that a white Ford Falcon sedan with x3 males wearing hooded jumpers and x1 female on board, has been linked to a Break & Enter that occurred in Acacia Gardens about 4am on Tuesday 10th November 2015. If you see anything suspicious, please contact '000' in an emergency (ie-in the act of committing an offence) or Quakers Hill Police Station on 0296788999.

17.01.2022 Please take care around the creeks and vegetation. Red belly black snake spotted at 11am this morning, near the bridge at Dagara/Darrabarra

17.01.2022 Does anyone know why the lone swing in the big park has been hazard taped off??

15.01.2022 Would you like to contribute to the community? We currently have vacancies on the EC that help manage the Eastern Precinct. Please let me know if you would like to apply for a position. It involves meetings with the EC team every couple of months and working with facilities and property management. If you are community minded and keen to have a say in the very area you live, please message us. Additionally if you have any feedback or concerns about the Executive Committee we are always happy to have a chat, we are just regular residents who take a keen interest in what goes on.

14.01.2022 Hi Everyone, you will probably receive one of these notices in your letterbox from a few disgruntled members of the community. Just so you are all aware there are many false elements to this letter that the executive committee have refuted and tried to resolve with this breakaway group. Happy to address a lot of these and we have done so publicly. The EC has no hidden agenda, has no qualms with new members, and never opposed exiting our initial period. In fact we support that 100% and submitted our agreement to NCAT. If you have any questions about this or the EC please feel free to PM us here and we will get back to you personally.

14.01.2022 Anyone missing a bike?? Located near the school.

13.01.2022 If anyone saw anything yesterday arvo a school Mum would be most grateful. Morning everyone! Yesterday at school pick up I returned to my car to find it had been scraped/scratched from the back bumper to the front wing on the drivers side......if anyone has any info please personal message me. I was parked in the road facing the community pool from 2.20-3.10....new blue nissan xtrail. Any info would be appreciated.

11.01.2022 Would love to hear from any owner occupiers in the area, their thoughts on the strata scheme, any feedback, anything you feel the executive committee should be discussing with the strata and facility managers. Is everyone satisfied with the status quo? Is no news good news for you? Do you understand your obligations as a strata member? Would you be willing to participate in an AGM? (Via e-vote or supplying proxy forms to someone attending) - Please feel free to PM us or even comment below. I know i've asked previously with little to no response but maybe this time will be different.

11.01.2022 School Holidays and its time for knock and run. A group of 5 or 6 teenage Arabic girls are roaming about annoying the neighbourhood, just busted them on the second attempt.

08.01.2022 Snake Safety event. Saturday 24th October. 9.30am-11am. The New Rouse Hill Sales & Information Centre. RSVP [email protected] by Wednesday 21st. Places are limited.

07.01.2022 Sadly Ironbark is represented in this list...please be vigilant.

06.01.2022 Anyone left 2 pool noodles up at the pool either today or yesterday? One blue, one green.

06.01.2022 **** WARNING FROM POLICE - CRIME ALERT **** Riverstone Police are warning residents in the Quakers Hill Local Area Command to REMOVE the garage remote contr...ol device from your vehicles. The area is experiencing a 'new trend' where offenders are stealing garage remote control devices from vehicles that are parked in driveways or the street. PLEASE LOCK YOUR VEHICLE IT IS ALSO AN OFFENCE TO NOT LOCK YOUR VEHICLE - THANK YOU See more

06.01.2022 The park was heavily tagged last night. I've removed what i could with the materials i have. I will be reporting this to the graffiti hotline (see previous post) Can you please check your surrounding areas and see if they were vandalised also? If you recognise the owner of these tags please contact police. It appears the morons have come out of hibernation.

05.01.2022 Say goodbye to all the plants around the park (Bara Way Park, the one in the header photo)....Due to a number of complaints to council about snakes in the area, they are removing them all and replacing with grass. Out of curiosity, how many snakes have you seen in the area??

05.01.2022 Dear everyone. Please do not let anyone into the pool even if they claim they have forgotten their tags. Send them home to go get it!

04.01.2022 If you see groups of teenagers coming out of the bushes along Alderney St they were probably visiting camp stinky! Castle Hill LAC (tel:02 9680 5399) have requested you call them right away if you see youths aged between 14-18 entering/exiting the area. The Hills Shire Council clean up crew aisle 9 please.

04.01.2022 A resident in Eastern Precinct left their car unlocked and parked in their driveway on Darrabarra way yesterday afternoon and today discovered that someone has opened the door and gone through the glove box & centre console looking for something to steal of value. There was nothing in there worth taking and it seems no damage was done! Residents please keep your home and vehicles secured to ensure these opportunistic criminals are deterred. If you are a victim of a crime, other than life threatening or time critical emergency situations, you should contact the Police Assistance Line (131 444)

04.01.2022 A man described as being aged about 40-50, of caucasian appearance, with a solid build, about 182cm tall, grey hair, green eyes and unshaven, also wearing reading glasses and with a small white dog has reportedly been approaching children in the area. He is beleived to be driving a black Toyota Echo. One incident occurred about 3pm on Frid8ay, where the man spoke with a nine-year-old boy and 11-year-old girl in Iron Ridge Park, near Bara Way, at Rouse Hill. 04.01.2022 Please register and use this tool to report graffiti, malicious damage and theft. This is not for life threatening emergencies.

01.01.2022 Similar tags up on Brampton and The Parkway

01.01.2022 Just a heads up the toilet door has been vandalized at the pool so will not open. (Someone screwed up the electronics) and please be aware of the shattered glass panel on the roof. Another reason to keep the kids off. So pee before you head to the pool.

01.01.2022 Hi Everyone, A request came through to extend pool hours and with a discussion with the EC, it was agreed that in crazy hot weather like today (and summer generally when its still 30 degrees at 9pm at night) that the pool will now be open until 9.30pm until the end of the Christmas school holidays. (Jan 26th 2016) So now you can put the kids to bed and then have a swim. Happy swimming - but please be mindful of excessive noise, if the vuvuzela's come out and we get a ton of noise complaints then this position may need to be reviewed.
