22.01.2022 This is a review found on Couch Surfing website, happy customers. Hi, I hired a 4WD with 4 other pax, and this is in my opinion the best way to discover the island. 3 days / 2 nights. We started from Rainbow beach with the 4x4 hire (visit their website www.island4x4hire.com.au). The guy is very professional, patient and sociable. I would definately recommend him. You can expect a total bill of less than 1000 dollars for 5 people, including buying your food and petrol. Feature...s : - 10 minutes ferry to the giant beach of fraser - Camping or accomodation with hot shower and flushing toilets on the island - Camping, cooking, etc gear, ice box, cutlery - detailed itineraries and advices Usually i don't like to advertise for private companies, but i really think it's a must. Much cheaper thant TO. We had a breakdown with the car the last day, and they took us and finished the tour with us, at their own expense. See more

Absolutely beautiful weather at the moment so why not take that much needed break now before peak season breathe that fresh island air.

10.01.2022 What an amazing experience! We rented a 4x4 with full camping gear included for 4 days and 3 nights following Kevin advice. Everything was included, even barge ...tickets and camping permits. We did not have to worry about a thing!. We where surprised by the level of knowledge and detail about the island and every tip he gave us was unbelievably precise!!! He took the time to take us through everything before departure and set an amazing itinerary for us, and even spoil us with a little surprise before leaving!. We where lucky to find this guys and highly recommend them for anyone looking for a great customer service company and an awesome adventure on Fraser island. Thanks so much guys for organising this unforgettable trip for us! See more
