22.01.2022 Great day out, and some impressive tec diving equipment and skills, with the boys from Aquability the other day off flinders. We even generated a bit of interest from some of the resident dolphins who came to check out what all the fuss was about.

22.01.2022 Last of the dives at Jervis Bay for this leg of the trip. Murrays reef shore dive this morning. Calm conditions and relatively warm water at 18 deg. A few critters about and heaps of smaller reef species, all in all an enjoyable hour under the water filled by a tasty lunch at 5 pigs cafe in Huskisson. Unfortunately building swell for the rest of the week has closed out the remainder of the trip to Nelson bay, south west rocks and Coffs. Time for an about face back to Vic. Maybe next time

22.01.2022 Great to support new local businesses, if your on the island check out citrus and vine, great food, warm welcome and drinks!!!!

21.01.2022 Heading down to Phillip island over the Melbourne Cup weekend? Why not kick off the long weekend in style by diving on two of the Islands best dive sites. We have four spots left for our double dive to the Pinnacles and George Kermode wreck on Saturday morning (advanced certification required) and 6 spots left for the cruisy afternoon dive to Cape Woolamai and surrounds... 20.01.2022 Starting our dive boat sea trials and landed an awesome day out at Phillip Island, couldn't ask for better conditions which allowed us to get out to the Pinnacles and the fantastic George Kermode Wreck. Our only regret is not taking three cylinders and more video. Maybe next time.

19.01.2022 We’ve had a lot of enquires leading up to Christmas about rental equipment in conjunction with our trips and unfortunately had to let people know that we were still waiting for the last of our gear to clear customs. Happily the wait is now over and all equipment has now arrived just in time for the new year, with the weather for Fridays dive shaping up to be a cracker! As of tomorrow we are thrilled to be able to offer visitors to the island partial or full equipment packages... for hire, for either private dives or in conjunction with one of our upcoming boat trips scheduled for the new year. Happy new year everybody and bring on 2020.

19.01.2022 Diving is Back!!!! After feeling like being in hibernation for the last two months, we're super excited to again be running our double boat dive trips around Phillip Island, as we slowly emerge out of the governments forced lock downs. Although we're heading into the winter weather period, on the right day the Island still offers some fantastic cold water diving and with whales moving through the area during June, you never know what you might see....just remember to layer... up or dive dry. Our first boat trips have now been scheduled on our on-line booking system for the Long weekend in June, and will continue on a fortnightly basis through to the end of August. For the next few months we will only be running trips every second weekend, but rest assured our summer and Easter holiday program will ramp up significantly. If your itching to make up for lost dive time over the last few months why not jump onto one of our upcoming trips. Our double boat dives only cost $150 which includes both tanks waiting for you on the boat, as well as weights, hot and cold snacks and drinks (maybe even the odd Dim Sim or Hot Dog). By also only having a small group of divers on the boat at any time (max 6), it makes it easier to tailor our trips to each individual groups interests as well as allows everybody to socialise and share stories. So why not jump onto our website at www.phillipislanddive.com.au and book your seat to explore some of the great sites around the Island such as the Pinnacles, George Kermode Wreck, Cape Woolamai or Pyramid Rock. Hope to see you soon.

18.01.2022 Couple of pics from our recent shore dive at Flynns reef. Bit stirred up on the day, only 1 to 4m vis, but all in all not a terrible dive site, lots of good sized green lip abalone, some nice small reef outcrops and a couple of critters hanging around, depth ranged from 3 to 6m at low tide, easy access off Flynns beach though.

15.01.2022 Hi everyone, we went a little quiet over winter down here on the Island as we worked on finalising out boat fit out as well as sourcing rental equipment, but it's about to be all systems go. Hope to see you all down on the Island soon for some sun , fun and fantastic diving.

12.01.2022 Some days the ocean works with you, others it just says......nope! Despite our best efforts we just could not break through the impressive and daunting swell which created some periodic 2 - 3m breakers and a wicked rip. So in the interest of safety we pulled the pin. He that fights and runs away, May turn and fight another day. (Tacitus)... Well played Bore beach...well played, but we will be back.

11.01.2022 Great day out with Ross and Florence for a double dive to the Pinnacles and George Kermode off the Island. One of the greatest benefits of running dive charters is meeting genuine and friendly people, and these guys certainly fit the bill. Whilst it may have been a bit wet, we persevered and all in all the conditions didnt turn out too bad. By all accounts the wreck turned it on yet again. Hopefully next time well turn on some sunshine for you guys. Anyone interested in doing this trip or our other upcoming charters, feel free to check out our available dives on the website or give us a call for any other dates as we may be arrange a dive trip to suit your schedule.

09.01.2022 Great day out on the water today, although the conditions deteriorated significantly on the trip back, we still managed to squeeze in two dives on the fantastic pinnacles as well as the George Kermode wreck. This was followed up with an afternoon dive for the open waters, at the sponge gardens and Woolamai quarry. The morning crew even managed to pick up a few passengers for the ride home .....yum yum. Cheers to all the divers from near and far who came out and made the day.

07.01.2022 Fantastic conditions around the Island today which meant it was a great chance to get some dives in around Kilcunda. Plenty of rock ledges, tons of abalone and a even few crays. Highlight though was definitely swimming under the arch to reveal some large Port Jacksons lazing in the rock garden. Almost forgot to get any footage, almost!

03.01.2022 Great night for a dive... evening visit to dent rock tonight and despite some marginal vis we were able to still come across a variety of life around the rocks and surrounding sand flats. Just a short distance off shore and in shallow water, definitely worth a visit again.

02.01.2022 Exploring beneath the Cowes Jetty, wasn't sure what we would find. Apart from a few shopping trolleys, crutches and the odd i-phone, we also said hello to some friendly marine critters. Little bit murkey given it was low tide, I imagine vis would be better at high tide but still an enjoyable and easy shore dive.

01.01.2022 Winter road trip up east coast and on our way to Coffs Harbour. Managed to plan some dives along the way with the first today at Jervis Bay. Off to a great start with whales on trip out then seals lazing around in rocks and finally some great underwater critters including a few grey nurse sharks cruising around. Great day out and big thanks to Jervis Bay Dive for putting on a show. Night dive tonight at Dent Rock then Murrays Beach tomorrow. Watching with bated breath about weather for rest of trip which might put Nelson bay, south west rocks and Coffs dives in jeopardy , big swells later this week.
