20.01.2022 Down at the Lake today! . . Meet Kingsley Kingsley retired on Wednesday... He was responsible for the retic at Black Swan Lake and other surrounding parks. Hes lived a sad miserable life, his words.. and I only hope that all things good come his way as he embarks on his next adventure. Kingsley loves the fact that the park that he cared for so much is being used as much as it has been since we started back in November I wish him nothing but the best, and look forward to when he returns to the van at the lake. Tomorrow (Sat 1 Aug) we will be at the Meadow Springs Sports Facility! The Mandurah Pirates have a Home Carnival so we will have the van going as well as the Isle Of Lace Coffee Cart So for all my Round The Lake walkers, come walk to Meadow Springs otherwise alternatively you will also catch us at the Mandurah Baptist school from 11am til 2pm! 20.01.2022 F Y I Now as majority are well aware, there is a lot of construction going on in front of the van here at Black Swan Lake.. Many of you have been wondering and asking the question.. what will happen to us? My understanding is that we will be fine to operate once the houses are built.. however the commercial site is the decider.. ... Apparently PEET don’t know exactly what they’re doing with the commercial block.. whether they sell it off to be developed or if they will develop on it themselves.. we all will have to wait and see. However if I do hear anything I will most definitely tell you all So until then, we will be out here to keep you all caffeinated. On Friday we are CLOSED because well, mother duties.. my son has his rugby trials at his new school for next year #Year7 and I’m not missing the chance to flex my cheerleading skills ... Queen Bee joined me right at the beginning of Isle Of Laces journey and played an essential part to getting it all up and running and established at Black Swan Lake. Her presence in the van will be missed, however we wish her all the best in her next journey. 02.01.2022 Possible changes will be taking place over the next couple days.. Reduced hours mainly.. due to everywhere now opening up, people not wanting to walk their dog as often as they did and the season that is Winter! We will be trialling closing earlier however, weekends will remain the same for now. We have really noticed a drop recently and as a small business and staff to pay.. something’s gotta give. ...
