14.01.2022 In recent years, children have become significant consumers of online content, through social media, entertainment and educational activities, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. With more time spent online, threats of image-based abuse, #cyberbullying, stalking and exposure to unreliable information or illicit materials are growing, putting these children’s emotional or physical wellbeing at risk. The Embassy together with senior representatives of the Australian Federal Police and the #CyberCrime Unit at the Israel Police - conducted a panel discussing online child abuse and cyber offences. These discussions pave the way to a comprehensive cooperation between both organisations and our countries, creating tools and common strategies to tackle this crucial challenge.

07.01.2022 25 of November marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. This devastating phenomena takes many forms, including physical, sexual, or psychological violence, but also economic abuse and exploitation. During the #16days, until 10 December, which marks Human Rights Day, the UN launched a campaign dedicated to raising awareness to Gender Based Violence called "#OrangetheWorld". Israel joins this important battle for a brighter future, free from violence.
