13.01.2022 I’ve been off posting across my socials for a while, and that’s because, being stuck in Victoria also means being stuck doing the exact same thing day in day out. There is only so much someone can handle when that someone literally thrives off human contact and interaction, and some days it’s just a lot to try and continue to understand. Trying to understand how I’ve lost 100% of my performance income as an artist and all my favourite club/bar/restaurant venues are now closed..., how I can’t get out of the house to see my friends or family, how I can’t celebrate anyone’s or my own birthday, how I can’t escape to the gym to let out my frustrations of the day or even just see a strangers fucking smile, those things among all the other normal stuff we did as human beings. Yes, I’ve used this time productively to teach myself new skills and learn new things outside of music, but man, being cooped up inside the house (or in my work building) and doing the same shit every day is becoming absolutely mind numbing.
