Billie has been painting since she was 11 and is a proud Bidjigal/Dharug woman with family ties to the Katungal peoples in NSW and Noongar peoples in Western Australia. She shared stories about her culture with our staff and even allowed them to participate in aboriginal dot painting body art. Thank you for joining us Billie, and for helping us celebrate NAIDOC week. As an organisation we would like to acknowledge the Larrakia people as the Traditional Owners of the Darwin region and the Arrernte people of the Alice Springs region. We pay our respects to the elders both past and present.
