02.01.2022 I have had the privilege of photographing a lot of teenagers lately and while each and every one of them have been wonderful, unique and all beautiful individuals, they have not had the best confidence. ( Which is one of the main reasons their parents wanted some them to have photos of themselves that they love and feel good about. ) Yes, they loved the photos of themselves and they have said 'oh wow, I actually look pretty' or ' I actually look good in these' ( Because YOU ...ARE BEAUTIFUL ) I try to get parents to jump in some of the photos with their kids only to hear "Oh, you don't want my ugly face in them." or "When I lose some weight maybe" and words to those effect. Mums - and Dads too - Please listen up - Be kind to yourself, because your kids are listening, your kids are watching you and because you should love yourself. We only have one body and only one life, and life is way too short to not love the skin you're in. Don't wait till you are 'thinner' , 'prettier' , 'have a new wardrobe' Your children and your grandchildren will want the photos of you now, and if you are lucky enough to grow old , you will even want photos of you now - the age you are. LOVE YOURSELF! xo See more
