25.01.2022 For some businesses, the COVID-19 pandemic has been the straw that broke the camels back, but for me, it has been a time to evaluate and review; and clean up my office!! I have sorted through decades of creative work and realised that some of my early logos are still going strong today. I feel proud of that but also it made me think about what creates longevity in branding? While some logos come and go, others stand the test of time and show no signs of fading from consumer...s minds. It is said that brands with longevity have an emotional connection with their audience. That emotional connection comes from the experiences that the brand presents. As long as this same emotional connection is there and can be maintained over time, customers will return often and for the long term. Today you can buy logos online, theres no-one to brainstorm with or tell them your dream for your business, do these logos have an emotional connection? Will they last the test of time?
