25.01.2022 Who else’s had a splashing good weekend? The ocean was calling and it was amazing.

23.01.2022 It’s ok not to be ok. There is a lot of talk today about asking r u ok? Which is fantastic. But, Don’t forget to ask our little ones. They have bad days to and what we think are little insignificant things that happen in their day are big meaningful things for them. If they seem more frustrated/angry/silly/naughty than usual, open the conversation and just listen and empathise. We ALL need someone to listen.

22.01.2022 What a year 2020 has been and today’s announcement just topped it off. I understand and respect the restrictions but that doesn’t mean I’m not gutted. I’m gutted that I have no idea when I’m going to see my Queensland family. That my husbands family can no longer do their big celebration. That there are so many people that are in isolation or spending Christmas without their loved ones. This year has defiantly taught me to live every day and take every opportunity, I actually already lived life that way but I think I feel it more deeply then ever before. I have so much to be grateful for, we all do, we just need to look at it from a different view.

19.01.2022 It’s 20 years from now, your going through all the photos for their 21st and you come across this one. Your heart fills with love. You get that fuzzy warm feeling throughout your body as a smile creeps across your face. Your memory takes you back to this time and you sit there remembering all his little quirks. This! 11.01.2022 Siblings. It’s such a love hate type of relationship. I see my girls go from being all over each other to screaming at each other within seconds. But hey, That’s sibling yeah? . I love that I captured a love moment for this beautiful family.

10.01.2022 Did you not get around having a newborn session? No worries. 6-10 months is such an awesome age to capture. I have had a run of them and they are seriously becoming my fave sessions.

03.01.2022 Friends. Victorian photographers need our help. As it stands currently photographers can return to work mid October but their clients must wear masks. Now as you can imagine, Photographing a family (that all live under the same roof) with masks on isn’t an option and this is the only rule that is going to stop so many from opening back up. Commercial photography/film/television have exceptions. Real estate photographers can wear masks enter unclean homes where the family are present and not wearing masks. I even believe beauty therapists can operate. Yet, if any of these workers had a home studio. Their clients would have to wear masks. It doesn’t make sense. I’m so glad we were able to get away before all the new craziness started. I really hope many of you are not to impacted by the new restrictions.
