21.01.2022 Great News!!!! The GDRC have been granted permission to permit NSW based Owners, Members & Racegoers to return to the races under strict COVID-19 bio security m...easures as follows: 1. The venue is limited to 500 patrons 2. You must provide your name and telephone number or email address upon entry 3. Social distancing of 1.5m must be adhered to - this includes following all floor distance markings 4. Bars and cafe facilities will not be available however the club will have mobile food van available for food and coffee as well as a charity run sausage sizzle 5. Members Lounge will be closed due to this area being used as a jockeys isolation area 6. TAB facilities will be available 7. You must NOT attend the premises if you: Are experiencing cold or flu like symptoms Are awaiting COVID-19 test results Have been in contact with a person who has tested positive to COVID-19 Have returned from international travel and have failed to observe Government quarantine restrictions 8. All persons attending Goulburn Race Club are encouraged to download and have operational the COVIDSafe App, including have their Bluetooth setting turned on whilst attending

21.01.2022 After a busy week this post is a little delayed, but the team here at MCDONALD RACING have been very busy at the stables preparing the horses for their upcoming races.... On Friday the 30th of October we took a tribe down to Murrumbidgee Turf Club where we had a successful day of racing, picking up a second in race 2 after DEPARTING BULLET came across the heels off the rail in 3rd position, to lead into the last 50 meters to just get beaten at the post by a bob of the head. In race 3, our team had RENWICK and ROC DE KHAPER running. RENWICK ran a genuine race after a long spell and only being second up, he failed to match the tempo of the front runners at the 800m mark. However ROCK DE KHAPER ran a great race. After coming out towards the rear of the field and running 5th at the 600m mark ROC DE KHAPER flew around the outside and pushed forward running home strong to take the victory. 17.01.2022 Shares Available. 30% available in ‘Monteil’. Monteil has had a spell and back in full work. We are looking at her having her first start this prep late January. Monteil has matured and come back in work a much stronger mare this time in. She showed us a lot of ability in her first prep but struggled to put it all together on race day due to immaturity. She has proved that she can run a very fast last 600m sectional in her previous starts so we are looking forward to a very ...positive preparation this time in. Exciting opportunity to purchase shares in a horse set to race in under 6 weeks. Trialled at Goulburn in most recent Occassion placing 3rd by 1.5L. Both first and second horses went on to win their next starts. 17.01.2022 ROC DE KHAPER After his convincing win last Friday at Wagga its time for him to hit the big stage of Rosehill Gardens today for the TAB HIGHWAY HANDICAP RACE 2. He drew barrier 7 which should land him in a good spot. Mikayla weir has the ride today riding at minimum weight of 54kgs 5kg lighter than the top weight. With the weight off his back hopefully he will be in the mix at the line

13.01.2022 SHES ARRIVED After the long trip back from Ballina we would like to welcome our newest member to the MCDONALD RACING team. There won’t be any dramas getting horses to the races, we can take 9 at a time now. We would like to thank the team for the hard work they put in and the owners and connections that have got us thus far. Stay tuned for the photos of her all sign written up.

13.01.2022 ROC DE KHAPER THE ROCK IS FLYING On behalf of the team at Mcdonald racing we would like to thank Mikayla Weir on the perfect ride today at Rosehill Gardens. Mikayla got him out of the barriers and took the sit putting him in a lovely position 6th 1 out off the rail. Approaching the 800 meter mark Mikayla peeled him out into the clear giving him the best opportunity to run home. Nearing the 100m mark that’s what he did and ...kept going and really hit the line hard. A bit more distance and the win could’ve been ours. We would like to thank the owners for their ongoing support and I think they will see us more in the city now

05.01.2022 TIME TO SHINE We have been working hard over the past year ,from riding track work as a hobby, to now having a chance at running two horses in the Highway at one of the biggest race days at Kembla Grange. With the running of the $1million THE GONG. We were lucky enough to get two starters in the tab highway handicap. ROC DE KHAPER after two very good runs got straight in drawing barrier 9 which should land us in a good spot given the early speed he has been sho...wing. DEPARTING BULLET getting a start after coming in as second emergency and drawing barrier 16, he ran a solid run in Wagga two starts back, however he was piped at the post. We are hoping the pace is slow up front to get us into a handy position on settling down and come home strong.
