10.01.2022 Since my partner and I moved in together, we have made such a considered effort to reduce our waste. However there are some annoying little bits that get throug...h the cracks of our minimal waste journey. Its a steady journey but along the way through research, online minimal waste forums, and speaking to likeminded people, we learn more and more about how these pieces can be recycled. Recycling tip of the day: Those pesky little plastic tag strings you get on even second hand clothing can be recycled! Place them inside a plastic milk carton/drink bottle or other container alongside other hard plastics (ie zip ties, milk bottle lids) and collect until the container is full and place in the curb-side recycling bin! The main issue with these pieces not being recycled is that they fall through the recycling machines gaps, so by collecting them in a standard sized bottle, it all stays together Hoping that this helps you on your minimal waste journey! lauren Via @chacunsoncafe See more

04.01.2022 So excited for Bowerbird! This was the first market I did and have loved being there over the last couple of years. This year is a little different, I will be there as a customer and not as a stall holder. My husband and I welcomed a beautiful baby girl last month and decided to have a break from markets. I cant wait to catch up with the other stall holders and do a bit shopping.
