24.01.2022 I love that I can share these artworks with you now! I had the great pleasure of painting these for a collector who gave them as a special gift to her mother, titled FLOWERS FOR MUM The collector saw one of my previous gum flower paintings and organized these oil on linens as a 3 piece set. They looked fabulous together, plus it was utter joy painting my first set of 3. During last year I had a lot of fun painting quite a few of these beautiful delicate blooms. Sitting t...oday and looking over some past work, I have been inspired to create more of them. There are some spots left open for this years commissions and it would make my day if I could fill them with more favourite gum flower painings on my easel! Maybe you have a glorious tree flowering in your backyard that you would get much joy from having them painted for your wall. Or, leave it with me to create something beautiful. 22.01.2022 Sooooooo over the moon to be able to offer you something brand new and little bit fancy! I have been thinking for ages of trialing a new type of artwork and I would love to hear your thoughts. Over the past month or so I have been experimenting with painting on prints of my past work. I have enjoyed revisiting these images and find myself feeling excited about them all over again. ... These pieces are called 'Oil On Prints'. The process begins with creating a quality stretched canvas archival print. I then paint using my oils on top of areas of the existing image. The result is very appealing with the artwork giving the impression of an original as the texture of the paint is visible while being available at a similar price to a print. 15.01.2022 The sale continues! I am loving seeing what pieces are being ordered and set to travel to the far reaches of Australia, towns like Gunnedah, Howlong, Townsville and Port Hedland. Today in my studio I have been having a lot of fun getting this 'oil on print' ready to be shipped to far north QLD. I have painted on the surface of the canvas print, creating a delicate textured effect similar to the original. 04.01.2022 Cool day in the studio finishing up painting all of the ‘oil on prints’. Such a fabulous response to this new product. The feedback I am getting from collectors is that they are loving the painted look of the artwork. So happy about this as I’ve been super excited about them. So lots of drying now and then off to the framers.

01.01.2022 Phew! My little sunset painting framed beautifully and sent on its way. Made it safe n sound to the new owner. I packed it within an inch of its life, would have taken awhile to unravel at the other end I’m sure. Layers of tissue paper, bubble wrap and cardboard but every time I still get nervous.
