16.01.2022 My staff and I have all tested negative to COVID-19. The customers who visited Jambo Jambo on the 31st of July have also all tested negative so far. I am really appreciative of all the warm messages, kind gestures and phone calls I have received through my self isolation.... This has been a tough time but we are looking forward to the reopening where we can see your faces again. I will update again with the reopening date soon. Thanks again

16.01.2022 Given the current situation, we are practicing social distancing and giving hand sanitiser to everyone who walks through the door. Of course we have washing facilities available, if you’ve been to our restaurant you know you can easily wash your hands with soap and water. We also have take away for those who prefer to stay home - just call us to order. These are some of the things we are doing to adjust to our new normal. So far we are operating our normal hours. If that changes, we will let you know here on Facebook. Thank you for your continued support.

15.01.2022 NSW Health notified us that an individual with a confirmed case of COVID-19 dined at Jambo Jambo on Friday 31st of July between 7pm and 8:30pm. We have been working with NSW Health to contact everyone who visited the restaurant on this date. Following the NSW Health guidelines, we are having authorised cleaners to do a deep cleaning of the restaurant. Due to this situation, we will be closed until the 14th of August. The health and safety of our customers and staff are our top priority and we apologise for the inconvenience. We will post again for further updates. Thank you

10.01.2022 Hi everyone. Due to high demand, I decided to make takeaway available from Tuesday to Sunday and have extended the hours from 1pm to 9pm. You can now enjoy lunch and dinner! Order one hour before and pick up is from 1pm. Also, I will be selling coffee -- freshly roasted and brewed Ethiopian coffee in takeaway cups or freshly roasted and ground coffee in 500g.
