21.01.2022 Australian Army Reserve salutes Major-General JAK Mackay. In 1916 the then Brigadier JAK Mackay formed the Australian Army Reserve Forces and was it's first National Director (Director-General) His vision and capacity created this amazing service. After JAK Mackay's term the Australian Army Reserve Forces was renamed The Citizen Military Forces. In 1980 it was permanently named The Australian Army Reserve.

17.01.2022 The 27th February 1902 Lt Harry (Breaker) Morant was executed for war crimes. Within that same year JAK Mackay prevented further hasty action by Australian Troops. What were the British worried might happen in the Australian camp? Why were the Australian Troops so dissatisfied? What role did JAK Mackay play in the Morant trial?
